No man that was in a sack race (or 3 legged race) where two guys share one sack.

We almost made it through Wednesday without another Stanback thread.

But we didn't make it very far in the thread before we got the obligatory "another Stanback thread" comment. Thanks for filling the quota!

look the guy was running the 40 with a broken leg, torn knee ligaments against the wind (about 24.875 mph that day), on sand with roller skates on, not to mention the bad case of gas he had from eating pancho's mexican buffet for lunch.

In that case you have to factor out the propulsion gained from the gas which mathematically lowers his overwhelmingly documented 4.58 time to a 4.59 (rounded down from 4.594763 of course).

:p:

I seem to remember another Cowboy's receiver that played QB in college with not much speed. Drew Pearson.

Did anyone else ask what "HA relief" means?

I'm still waiting for the answer to this.....did I miss something?

Gotta love a thread about a player that noone knows anything about at his current position.

But did Pearson have Stanback's 4.58 speed?

I don't remember speed being a big requirement in those days. If there was then Bob Hayes would be in the HOF!
