and they should, this boise team is not as good as last year's and their schedule is the worst one since they started being a top ranked program.

I would agree that Boise's team this year probably isn't as good as last year but that doesn't change the fact that they shouldn't be cast aside because of some stupid ridiculous standard that they will NEVER be able to meet.

If every season they're going to get hammered because "they don't play anyone" then the BCS should just come out and say what they really mean and tell the world they won't put BSU, or any other small school, into the title game.

Quit jacking around and just call it like it is.

Furthermore, if Boise is going to get hammered for "not playing anyone" then every big school who failed to accept their open challenge should get hammered as well.

The BCS is a joke.

Basically, Boise is in NCAAF purgatory. Not good enough to get the free pass but not bad enough to be completely disregarded. So here they wait, punished season after season.

They know damn well that the ups-and-downs of a small program come more frequently than the big ones. And they'll continue to ignore Boise until time catches up a little bit, their QB and RB moves on and Boise goes through a little rebuilding period. Then they'll come out and champion their system more than ever because Boise will have lost to some nobody at some point in time.

I honestly don't know how anyone can support a system that completely eliminates the "underdog" aspect from sports.

yes they should because Stanford is better than Boise. Just watch the teams play.

That is what they said about Wisconsin when compared to TCU. ...now tell me. Who is the current Rose Bowl Champion?

...yeah, that's what I thought.

So I have to go to Oklahoma to pull for Oklahoma? That's pretty asinine to even type. :laugh2:You are a Poke though...so your firgivin...

Typical. OU fans are all alike. Never step foot on the campus of the the team that they claim to love so much. I don't know why you're calling OSU little brother. OSU is clearly the superior school when it comes to athletics, but of course you wouldn't know that because the most exposure that you've had to either school is watching from your couch.

No offense but OSU struggles w/ farrrrr to many teams.

You know it and I know it. If Oklahoma comes to play...you don't have a PRAYER!!!

But yes...Dec 3rd will tell us a LOT about OSU.

Sleep well lil bro..

OU struggled with Tech (loss), KU, Florida State and Missouri. Who has OSU struggled against again? OU showed how they respond when they play a team that can score.

Do you know me personally? Where do you get all of this information about me? None of what you are saying is true, but by all means, continue making yourself look rediculous in front of everyone.

You say OU struggled? They might have started off a smidge slow, but what were the outcomes of those games? By how many points did Oklahoma win by? It's usually so many I can't recall.

BTW for future reference:

I was born in McAlester, OK and my family has been season ticket holders since I was like 4 years old. Most of my family still caravan back and forth to Norman from Tulsa to this day. I can't tell you how many times Ive been on the campus and attended games while growing up and visiting from my home in Anchorage.

What a way to approach a debate. You shouldn't try to be personal and assume things bro. You are going to get caught more often than not.

Now you just look silly.

But ummm

Yeah...only thing in Oklahoma that matters as far as college is the Oklahoma Sooners and its football program. I honestly wish Oklahoma would kick little brother to the curb and stop having it tied around its neck when it comes to possibly moving out one of these days. Its embarrassing.

No. BCS must DIE. If Stanford wants a Championship, either Stanford or someone else MUST first beat BSU.

As I said before. Everyone thought Wisconsin was going to trample TCU last year in the Rose Bowl. Welp, that didn't happen.

BCS must DIE.

BSU lost to Nevada last year and ended the season ranked 10th in the BCS while Stanford was 4th. What did BSU do between then and now to deserve to be ahead of Stanford? Absolutely nothing, Stanford should have always been ranked ahead of BSU. Stanford only needs to go undefeated to prove they are better than BSU.

I assume from your grammatical errors and misspellings that you never went to OU, which is a good school. That alone makes me think you're no more than a bandwagon fan who like most OU fans only have one tie to the University and that's the shirt they bought. It's really a shame when OU fans are so condescending to OSU when OSU has one of the most successful athletic programs in the nation. But I don't expect you to know about sports unless you see Toby Keith on the sideline.

As for you saying that OSU struggled, tell me what games besides A&M. Any game that you say that they struggled in, I can make a better argument for OU struggling in their respective game.

Should that matter if he didnt? He can't be a fan of the team that he's followed his entire life? Why people dwell on that is similar to Commander fans crying that there are too many Cowboy fans in the DC area and both arguments are very annoying.

I'm a firm believer that after college you should root for your alma mater. If you didn't go to college, then you shouldn't be that passionate about a school you never attended. I watched Friday Night Lights when I was in 7th grade or so and have followed Odessa-Permian since. That doesn't mean I go on message boards and talk crap to fans of the team that Permian plays and talk about their superiority. That would be crazy.

Did Stanford beat Boise State or Boise State lose? No. Why should Stanford leap frog them? They shouldn't.

Strength of schedule plays a part that is why. Until there is a playoff in place they will go by wins and losses and strength of schedule

Again. The BCS must DIE. It's a scam.

...and that is coming from someone who has both teams he follows in an AQ conference.

All teams should be on even ground.

It may be but it is better than what was in place.

Bosie also has to play someone you can't go out and beat bad teams and expect your going to get the same approval as an LSU or Alambama who is playing 4 to 5 teams in the top 25 every year. Please explain why whould LSU and Bama have to play an extrealy hard scheduel while BSU plays a bunch of no body teams. How is that fair to these other teams?

Fact is Boise get the advantage of playing easy teams why should they get the same benifet? Are you saying what ever team Boise plays should carry the same weight as a game vs Alambama and LSU this weekend?

That is ridiculous and full of arrogance. You are no different than the whining Commander fans that cry about Cowboy fans in their area. So a person that grew up rooting for that team his entire life should stop rooting for that team because he didn't attend school there? That's ridiculous.

You can believe what you choose but there are many people who have been lifelong fans of certain College teams and follow them with great passion.
