I'm glad they are going bigger, above and beyond, "light side/dark side", "balance" ... blah blah blah

You either have an appreciation for these "suspend your disbelief" movies or you don't.

The original trilogy would have gotten slammed just as bad as the movies that followed. Lol

Movies where they bring superheroes to the screen... it wasn't that long ago when they couldn't really do that.... well. Now.... then can,

Love it or hate it. Pick one.

There seems to me to be an obvious intent not to give too much away. And I found that both frustrating and refreshing. Frustrating as a member of an instant gratification society where we have so much given to us that we've grown to expect it. But refreshing in the sense that I can still go into the film with a fresh and open mind and be exposed to the new and unexpected.

In an age where many films give it all away because they feel they have to (looking at you Dawn of Justice!), it's nice to see people realize that the film and the franchise can speak for themselves.

I had my daughters when they were 5 yes old that I was a Jedi. I would open the garage door with the wave of my hand (had the garage door opener in my other hand in my pocket), the side mini van doors when I put a finger to my head. What really convinced them was when we walking into a Target store and I stopped them just before we went in. I waved my hand and the automatic doors open as I stepped the mat to do it. They were astonished and said you really are a Jedi. The imagination of kids.
