What bothered me was the love story chick flick feel of the last 2, jar jar binks, and how awesomely futuristic everything looked even though it was in the past, compared to the original 3. Finally, if anakin built c3po, why no recognition of him during any of the 3 original movies......to me that little bit of knowledge left a serious gap in the storyline.

Yes.. there are more than a few things Lucas could have done better.

The c3po thing has a few explanations but... it's really... when originally trilogy was made... he wasn't built by Anakin lol

With that said... why do it?


Leia remembers her real mother? In TESB
Prequels = mother dies.

So why do it George.. why kill Padme.p? Why not lie to Palp and Anakin and let her live for 2-3 years so Elias comments turn out to be true?

He just got lazy.

The plotting of the prequels was one of its biggest issues in my opinion. Lucas' poor decision to go with "kid Anakin" for the first film forced ecpverything else to be rushed and therefore unbelievable.

The two hour "romance" and the half hour "turn your back on everything you've believed in your whole life" wouldn't have happened if not fir that dumb move.

The best thing that ever happened to the franchise was Lucas selling it to Disney. He's lost it as a filmmaker.

I know why you went there and I get it. I did too at one point.

What got me out of "there" was....


Too many good actors in these films. They ALLLLLLLL came across as flat and not believable. Was very hard to suspend disbelief for prequels.

I blame green screen on large part. They could never get a feel for the momemt.
