after years wasted in pursuit of that rare bird, the "passrushing end" -we retool to a 3-4 scheme that de-emphasizes that type 'cuz "it's easier to find OLB-types that can get to the QB." sounds good, huh?

and a full two years into the retool we're now trying to land yet another rare bird... the coach that can effectively run the dang scheme.

For all of u who dont get it... Norv will be called the "HEAD COACH" by you me and the media... thats it! Jerry is the Head Coach and the players will be aware. Norv is the OC with a HC title who is in charge of training our beloved #17 (for u young bucks thats Jason Garrett)!

If u think Norv stints in DC or Oakland will be anything like the Head Coaching job under Jerry u should re-think that...

With the salary cap rising... it will make it even more easier for teams to once again cut players for poor play like the Boys have done with "Dat Dude", Peerless Price, Rocky Boiman and Vanderjack and the soon to be cut Rivera!

With Jerry calling the shots players will now fear for their Paycheck and the Parcells guys like the Fabinis of the world will have to earn their paycheck!

Yep.

I believe that's what caused the 2006 defense to fall apart-- we had too many people in the kitchen and the one that ended up "making the meal" (Parcells) should have been a bit more flexible.

Word. My biggest beef with the offense last year is that too many people had their hand in it. Passing game, running game & head coach. Psh - who's running the offensive show?

Same with the defense - a bunch of jack-of-all-trades, master of none.
