Based on what we know now, it is Troy, Dak, Romo.

Troy because he is a proven winner and has the intangibles that other two lack.

Then Dak because he is more mobile and better suited for today's NFL game. He has yet to prove he can win the big one, but he still has time.

Tony gets cut because throughout his career he never won the big one.

I go with Troy and build a mountain of an OL to protect him so I never had to take him off the field.

I don't get where the idea that Dak is more mobile than Tony comes from? I get that Dak has more rushing yards and TDs, but Romo was a magician in the pocket at evading pressure and extending plays.

I can see why you say that. He most definitely looks more stiff but he is still fairly elusive.

Romo made them look better than they were with his ability to buy time. Remember how bad that line looked with Bledsoe before Romo took over? Thats how bad they actually were. Remember how bad they were against NY in 2007 and Minn 2009? That's how bad they actually were when Romo couldn't get away from the rush.

I'd say they were a very average to below avg pass blocking line and a solid run blocking line

The reason Romo got in the game to begin with was because Parcells has absolutely no choice but to replace Beldsoe who couldn't even get a pass off against the rush.

From 10 to 12 the lines were complete trash. Smith was drafted in 11 and was the lone bright spot playing next to bums like Phil Costa, Kyle Kosier, Montrae Holland, Nate Livings, Mackenzie Bernadeau, Ryan Cook.

Leary and Frederick came along in 13 and finally things began to turn around.

The lines were bad in 2010-12…just like Burrows line was bad and just line Strouds his rookie year. It happens. Those years weren’t his whole career.

Bledsoe sucked. I’m sure him getting sacked was a combination of him and the pass protection.

Eli’s teams had great defensive lines. They didn’t have great personal at linebacker or the secondary. Cowboys had Greg Ellis and Ware….Newman at corner….Ken Hamlin was great in 2007…

You guys can’t revise history on me I witnessed all of this. Those Giants teams were barely even making the playoffs. Both SB runs.

I don’t agree with that. I agree he made them look better but like I said the line you’re referencing isn’t the exact like he had the year after when they won 13 games.

Leonard Davis was an upgrade over Rivera who was at the downside of his career. But if you’re saying they were a good line that Romo made look better then I agree.
