I noticed one whiff that couldn't be missed. He was at LG for that one.

Run or pass play?

There were a couple of plays where the DLineman shed the block at the last minute to tackle the RB.
- However, I think the RB might have ended up on the opposite of those blocks from how the play was designed.
- When the RB goes to the opposite of a block, then the OLineman has no leverage to maintain the block.

I don't know if Farniok is better, but Biadasz is not better than Farniok (in my opinion)>

Nah, you guys just havent seen him get thrown around by the likes of Vita Vea and Javon Hargrave. Farniok plays against backups in preseason and Biadasz plays against the best the NFL has to offer.

Biadasz is the better center.

This is Biadasz 3rd year and AmericanCowboys has been telling me every year that some backup is going to win the starting job over Biadasz.

Farniok, Lindstrom, Connor Williams, MCgovern, he has backed them all and claimed they will all win the job.

I told him connor Williams was the weak link on the line and would be off the team at the end of the season. I havent been wrong yet.

Farniok is a nice backup. They are clearly grooming him to be the backup center/guard.

It was a run block. Very early 3rd. I should go back and look at exactly when.

I'm not sure that it was a terrible play as much it wasn't along the lines of what I saw in the first half.

I almost never start threads, but Farinoks play last night made me seek opinions.

I think the answer as to who's the starter vs backup is now clear from last night's snap counts.....Biadasz zero, and Farinok played the entire game at three different positions.

The question is, did they get it right?

Personally I see pros and cons each way.

Biadasz didn't play at all last night. Does that mean he is definitely the starting center? I would guess so.

I thought Farinok played well. Made some nice second level blocks.

At this point I still question which one has the higher upside.

If a normal starter doesn't even suit up, you know his job is not even in question..

Based on everything including what I have seen. I do like Farrniok and think he will be a fine backup.

I think Biadasz did admirably last year in his first full season starting. But no I am not satisfied. It would have been better for the team if Farniok actually beat him out, but maybe Biadasz takes the next step this year. If not then we need to use a high pick on a center.
