Starting DL Without Micah

Yeah the self imposed soap opera is depressing. But if you sift through the fog of the Jones powered smoke machine, the truth is (in my view) we have a mediocre roster.

Hate to say it but if I’m being as completely objective as I can be, this team has major holes in its roster. The DT and RB positions are full of below average players in areas where we knew going into the season were problems.

We are not only not better at those positions, we maybe searching trades and the waiver wire before the opening night in Philly.

I will happily be wrong if this team is more than I see. But I can’t pretend we are something we aren’t.
Do tell us now just how effective the Dallas offensive line will be against the Eagles. You can't and would only be presenting a biased opinion. Prove other wise to someone who doesn't buy into your reason.

So who will start on the DL come the first game, amidst a frenzy of Philly fanatics circling the Boys like a pack of sharks?

This crazy soap opera is sickening to Cowboy fans, who are hungry for a winning culture and a playoff bound team. I am sure Micah's agent is not an attorney, who has ethical duties to act in good faith with all his work.

Divisiveness in Frisco is detrimental to the team and making Super Bowl goal oriented fans depressed.

So who will start on the DL come the first game, amidst a plethora Cowboys' haters, national media all clamoring to make fun of this storied franchise, and Eagle players intending to deliver a humiliation?

Neeland at LDE, Osa at DT3, Mazi by default at DT1, and D. EZ at RDE or Sam Williams?
Kneeland sucks. Dude is another waste.

Here is my starting front 4 from left to right:

Dante Fowler Jr, Perrion Winfrey, Osa Odighizuwa, James Houston.

Not going to respond to you, things disappear into thin air.
The team is still real and so am I. Reasoning first is how I was taught in Service and then Postal and the Sheriff's Office. One doesn't have to cheat on the Facts. The code of conduct was: I will not lie, steal, cheat or support those who do. Not directed at you, but I stay busy on truth.

Open minded and reasonable, this will be a good football season. With or without tariffs.

So you saw it, remembered it and still posted that?

Come on Coog!!!! :muttley:
last time I checked it's a free country, who references stuff cavanaugh says anyways, I mean aren't we against ALL media people who cover the cowboys???

There are people in the league who consider Osa to be a damn good DT, Solomon should be solid as well. Unfortunately there's little at 1tech.

RB, you may be right, but im not convinced Javonte and Blue can't be a really good combination. I dont buy the crap about how awesome Denver was at run blocking.

Williams and kneeland are the two that start. With ez, Fowler and Houston in sub packages.

Does anyone else here think Osa should bump outside more and Micah should play LB?

Honestly don't think it matters. History shows when Micah doesn't play our defense is bottom of the league bad.

That said, I'm not convinced Micah is giving up a $1+ million game check. He wasn't willing to eat a $50k fine for missing training camp.
We were 28th in the league last year, having Parsons didn't make a difference, yeah he missed 4 games but he also played in 12..and btw we were 30th against the run.

The problem Houston faces in his attempt to make the 53-man roster is the fact that the Cowboys are loaded on the edge, with Marshawn Kneeland, Tyrus Wheat, and Payton Turner taking up slots on the depth chart on the left side, and Micah Parsons (if he suits up, of course), Dante Fowler Jr., Sam Williams, and second-round rookie Donovan Ezeiruaku on the right.

Now educate me, smart guy... :flagwave:
We are loaded on the edge? With Micah, we have (checks notes), exactly 1 above average Edge rusher. Do you know something I don't about our edge rushers?!
