Well the preseason is over and we saw them throw different looks out there. With Tyron out looks like Tyler takes that job.

Who do you have for the starting lineup. It seems like JJ is going to stay in house and not go after any starters. At least not till cuts.

I wonder if Ball gets cut. He looked ok later against second string. Alarcon maybe cut. We don’t have a lot of depth here. Tyler has a ankle problem.

Depth is a big big problem on the OL. They MUST add a quality vet.

It's a dumpster fire.
And more frustrating ,
Totally avoidable.
Most casual fans saw this coming.
Our GM apparently did not.

When they had Nate Newton on the sideline last night, and the broadcasters were asking him which o-linemen he thought was doing a good job, and Nate said "none of the them!!" I had to laugh at him to keep from crying!! :p

Jerry is preparing his script to beg for Fisher or Peters to join the team.

Nate was always a straight shooter.
I laughed even harder when M. Irvin told Nate, "Come on, man, this isn't the 90's team (or something like that)". Michael then proceeds to say we just need to have an o-line that will keep the defense off of Dak, not maulers....and then said we need "maulers" at the goal line.

It’s one guy. Yes it’s one of the more important position on O-Line. But we can use 12 personnel and use TE to help. Elliot can help. We maybe rolling out some more or maybe designed bootlegs. Dak is completely healed from that horrific injury and is mobile. Use the 2016 method of dink and dunk. Move the ball and run off the right side or between the tackles. Tyler maybe decent LT. I am afraid of LG also. McGovern couldn’t beat out Conner Williams for the job. And Williams was not good. Alarcon didn’t look good nor did Ball until seahags went to second string. We also had a pretty good RB go down last night.

Tyler Smith - LT, Connor McGovern - LG, Tyler Biadasz - C, Zack Martin - RG. Terence Steele - RT

That's your starting O-line for the 2022-23 season folks.
Left side is shaky. Amazing one injury that’s not qb can bring you down.

Nate did say at the end he felt Farniok was playing well and Zack Martin of course. That was it. Sad. This Oline is in very bad shape.

I believe they need to keep rookie Tyler Smith at Left Guard. Like Michael Irvin said, that's the only position he has practiced all summer. It would be a huge mistake to move him to Tackle suddenly now without any chance to prepare for it.

Cowboys need to go after at least 1, maybe 2, veteran O-Tackles right now, but stubbornly, it looks like they are not. It's going to cost the team. 0-2 to start the season. Just wait and see.
