I've been watching since the beginning and this show just gets better. That revelation was a doozy, explains some things, but definitely not in the way I expected. The Jack/Anne/Max storyline getting very interesting, going to be fun watching Capt.Jack. The characters and writing have been outstanding, easily one of the best shows going right now.

Wow, so many twists and turns! Hard to keep up with all the story lines. Poor Miranda! Just recognizing that clock got her deaded.



And oh boy are they gonna be regretting taking Capt Flint like that. Uniting the pirates? Wow. The little grin that Silver gave when Vane of all people suggested getting Flint back was just awesome.

Ain't that the truth about the twists and turns. Every single character has some kind of deception going on. There's going to be some hell to pay, the season finale is going to be awesome. I just read that season three will introduce a new character....... BLACKBEARD!

Season 2 was simply fantastic. Holy crap was that a good finale.

Can't wait for season 3. Ray Stevenson is an amazing actor (Titus Pollo from Rome) and he looks awesome as Black Beard.

Now that is how to do a season finale!!!!

I had to watch again immediately, that episode went into full blown pirate-mode. So many great moments and so well done, simply amazing. This series has really started to hit it's stride this season and easily one of the best shows on TV. The finale really left me pumped up for next season and the fact that Blackbeard is going to be in the mix will make it epic. The only bad part is having to wait 9 months for the next season to start.

I am old enough to remember when getting only 5 million or so viewers doomed a show to one or two episodes.

I kind of like how they mix in real pirates from history along with fictional pirates.

Jack Rackham and Ann Bonney were real pirates...of course the story lines in the show are not real but they did sail together and were real.
Horningold was also a real Pirate.
We see Blackbeard coming on next season and he was a Real Pirate AKA Edward Teach among other names.
Charles Vane was also a real pirate.

Capt Flint and John Silver I think everyone will probably know was from Treasure Island.
One of my first big books (not child book) I read as a child and I still remember thinking I did not want anyone sending me a piece of paper with the black spot on it lol.
