There is an interesting meme (to steal one of Tom's favorite words) developing in the offseason, as represented by this line:
"It is conceivable that Dallas could have a better team this season, and wind up with a worse record."
Under the Garrett / Jones regime records no longer matter. Parcells famously said you are what your record indicates. That brutal, harsh reality that the NFL is a bottom line business apparently no longer applies to the Dallas Cowboys.
Its as if Parcells was never here.
But who really cares about records, or making the playoffs, or even super bowls anymore. Let's just content ourselves with watching a master builder build this franchise:
