Hey Corso you know all the big shots, why don't you call Jimmy Johnson and have him come down for a couple of days and get us straight ?

He's no longer straight himself... (not talking sexuality, you pervs out there)
That dude got twisted years ago when he decided to finally relax and I'm right there with him.
You better run
You better run
You better run from the Devil's gun

It's good to be the King!

i said we had to beat the falcons and saints to have a chance. now i'm trying to convince myself into thinking 3-1 is fine, but if we lose to the saints we're done.

Take Brady and Gronk off the Pats for at least half the season and they're done. Rodgers with Nelson, the Pack are screwed. Any team would be.

By the time Romo and Dez return and get back into form, I believe it will be too late for this team. As I don't believe Weeden or Cassel can win enough games to keep them in position for a late run.

It's just bad luck. We had good luck last year, so I kind of figured we were due for this.

How am I making excuses? When did I excuse the offense for not putting up points? I'm saying the defense is why we lost. They gave up damn near 40 points against the Falcons. They were absolutely pathetic. The offense sputtered, but they weren't the reason we lost. What more do you want from an offense playing without their star QB and WR. Are you really expecting to win a shootout with a backup quarterback?

More than 50 yards of offense in a half would be a good place to start. I don't think that's unrealistic at all.

Those 28 points in the first half was fool's gold, plain and simple.

This is all true. The key is the division. All of the teams are flawed. I don't see any team being more than a game over .500 by the time Romo comes back.

The defense has lost more, the offense has lost less replaceable. You can't replace Romo. You can't replace Dez. You can't replace Hardy. But you can probably cobble something together to replace the other defensive players we've lost.

We need the win Sunday night. It's not win or its over but it's a winnable game and we really need at least 2 wins in the 6 games left before Romo is hopefully back. I think that there are some winnable games on the other side of the bye also, but honestly I think the win this week would help some of the chicken littles around here immensely.

It's unrealistic when your OL can't block at the point of attack and you have to put the ball in the hands of your backup quarterback the entire second half. Bottom line if we wanna win we have to run the football consistently all four quarters.

This is disturbing....

The Cowboys are ranked 2nd to last in average yards per carry in the 2nd half. They are dead last in 1st downs by running.

Randle is 2nd to last for all RB in the NFL with 15 or more carries in the 2nd half. His average is 2.2. On first down it is 1.94. He has not rushed for a 1st down in the 2nd half so far this season.

Randle has carried the ball twice in the 4th quarter, both on 1st down and both for 1 yard.

Randle's average yards for carries after 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter is 1.75.

If DeMarco Murray left meat on the bone in 2014 then Joseph Randle is a strict vegetarian in 2015.

Randle's average yards per carry after his first 10 carries is 2.2. It appears as though 10 would maximize his contribution to this offense.

The Randle experiment is over. It's time to roll out Christine Michael.

Lol.

Have you been paying attention?

There aren't anywhere near the holes that there were last year.

I've been paying attention to this issue since 2011, Murray's rookie year.

The holes weren't always there last year, but when they were it was because the line and Murray were synchronized after working so hard together those past 4 seasons. It started in 2011 with just Free and Smith playing opposite positions. Slowly but surely the line was built but Murray paid the price those first three years, he got beat up the same way he is getting beat up now.

Everybody got screwed when he left. The line misses his leadership, tenacity, and familiarity. he misses his dogs, that's for sure. Romo got screwed, heck, he was his third leading receiver those previous 4 years combined. When the 4th quarter came around, Romo didn't have to stress out over the pass rush, he just handed off to Murray and the line did the rest.

Bryant stretched the field? Okay, but how many times was Bryant left one on one because of Murray's success? Teamwork, they both fed off each others success and Romo had the type of balance that gave him the most successful season of his career. Opponents had to pick their poison

Does this sound familiar, older fans?

And the defense, they spent 60% of the game occupying the best seats in the house. They didn't get worn down by the 4th quarter, the benches did. Now, they are screwed.

Teamwork, developing a rhythm, "like clockwork", these things don't happen magically, it's a carefully prepared recipe that depends on the entire variety of flavors.

His contract offer was an insult, he didn't run out on us, he was chased out by Cowboy management and even the fan attitude. They could have had him for less than he got from the Eagles, he is an intelligent man. We could have found a way to afford him. Hell, some fans were talking insane like getting Peterson or some other big name. Now they can afford it?

We fans got screwed. We had our new triplets. It was going to be 2014 part II. No way could they put that much heat on Romo when Murray provide real play action. Romo would still be in one piece.

And Randle would be were he needed to be, on the bench, ready to come in and benefit against a fatigued opponent for a few downs while Murray caught his breath after running for, yet another big run.

Anybody can run behind that line? What a joke! Anybody who believed that truly doesn't understand that football is a team sport.

It wouldn't be any different with Murray.

The blocking has not been consistent.

With Dez and Romo out, it is easy to load up against the run.

Leary has missed 2 games.

Martin is not the same as last year. His neck injury has affected him. Hopefully that gets better.

Free is terrible. He was never a very good run blocker but now after 2 foot/ankle surgeries in the past 18 months he is really a mess. He failed to get any movement on a 240 pound LB. That's sad.

They miss Parnell more than Murray.

Offense - The offense is reeling. There is only so much that the offense can do if we're unwilling to throw the ball 10+ yards. That will get you exposed quickly, which is exactly what happened against the Falcons. Everything was fine until Weeden threw that interception, which put them right back into the game, and allowed a depleted defense to get exposed against a multifacted offense in the Falcons.

Defense - Defense is depleted, more so than the offense actually. It would have been great to take that game against Atlanta, and hope that Brees didn't play this weekend, but that's not what happened. This defense needs to beat New Orleans as is, and we'll probably have to take a L against New England, but after that, it gets a lot easier. That was the second hardest game on the schedule that we'll face without Romo, and we could have had it.

Start Cassell as soon as possible.
Trade for BOTH Matt Forte and Alshon Jeffery. They're both free agents, so yeah, this is a rental, but I still don't care. These guys can help us until Romo and Bryant return, and they can help us even more after they do return. I've said it for a while and the Falcons game reinforced it, Terrance Williams is not dependable at all. Williams has one more year left on his contract, and I don't see us resigning him. I'd give Chicago a 2nd and Randle for Forte and Jeffery.

Activate Christine Micheal.

Actually use Darren McFadden. He has quietly played really well I think, with the few opportunities that he got. Despite a poor second half, Randle actually has impressed me this year. O-Line needs to shake off this rust and get it together. Running game should be fine, but it could be really impressive with Forte and McFadden.

Stunned Linehan isn't getting more creative here. Use Beasley and Escobar more for goodness sake.

I was really disappointed to see Sean Lee, the leader of this defense basically sit out a drive and a half because of a split lip. Someone please tell me there was more to it than that.

sorry, I don't play fantasy football. how do we plan to fit in forte and jeffries under the cap? and how will they fix the problem when we don't throw down field more than 10 yards. or to a WR for that matter.

Hopefully dallas can get a pass rush after the bye. Only 3 sacks so far and 2 were by linebackers. That's terrible!
