Has anyone heard anything else from the media about this.. I watched TMZ last night and it said nothing. Or are we the only ones that are still talking about it.

Yep some need you to know they have top notch morality. Zeke does stupid things big shocker. Outside of the dv everything else is pretty normal stuff some younger people get into at times.

Yep and the NFL said they are aware but don’t see anything too dumb.

Last time Elliot kept doing stupid. He had the dv case going on. Didn’t look like he was going to get in trouble but Elliot couldn’t leave it alone. Goes to a parade and pulls a woman’s top down. Then a bar fight after that. It don’t leave the NFL much of a choice when you keep doing stuff.

MBennett got charged with a felony for pushing through an older security guard at the SB trying to get to his brother

The charges were later dropped
charged and convicetd are very different things.

Cops will almost always charge people with obstruction and resisting arrest.... its their standard charge anytime someone pisses them off and they want to put cuffs on them.

NFL already said it's nothing and so did the police lol. Only nerds that have never done anything physical in their life got upset here.
I agree and personally have done none of the stuff Zeke has done. I was around people who did though and know some people esp younger ones do things like this. Online esp folks need to let you know how good they are for some strange reason.

Why don't you explain it because it appears to be classic Assault..... a threat of harm followed by an act that doesn't cause much harm[/QUOTE]
there doesnt have to be any actual harm for an asault to take place.

If I threaten to beat your arse and surrounding events make you believe that threat(im huge, im drunk, you just watched me knock someone out), then an assault has taken place. If I actually punch you in the face, that is battery.
If I threaten to beat your arse and I am confined to a wheelchair, then obviously my threat can not be carried out. Thus the person in the wheelchair making the exact same threat is not guilty of any assault because no reasonable person would believe the threat could be followed by acts to carry it out.

Lol facts. They don't realize that most physical altercations never end up in someone going to jail or getting any charges pressed against them. Worst thing that ever happened to me for fighting was getting banned from the Borgata Casino and Hotel in AC for a year.

I've seen assault charged for less. Pushing a security guard is stupid no matter how you slice it, and most go to jail.
There is no question Zeke could have been charged with assault. He clearly says "Something," to the kid... but it is him walking over , getting right in his face, and leaning into the kid that would be the best evidence that an assault likely took place, and I dont know about you, but a 6ft 230 lbs body of muscle that is drunk comes up on me talking ****, and leans into me//.... yeah, Im likely thinking this guy is pretty serious about popping me one.

There's a lot of cornballs in here. Hooking up with ladies lol they probably married to the first girl they ever laid with lol.

So, you think Zeke's actions got him laid that night? Maybe because he is a celebrity there was a chance, although the girl didn't seem particularly pleased with him. What about Joe Schmo that isn't a celebrity? Is being sloppy drunk and knocking down a security guard an aphrodisiac for some women?

He's not being charged the guy is not pressing charges. It's over. my goodness. And if you were running your mouth like the event staffer you probably would deserve it.

The hypocrisy amongst fans and. Whether you like Zeke or not. Most of us claim to want character players on our team but we really only want good players.
Damien Wilson did much worse and logged meaningful snaps on defense.

I am victim to it too..my first reaction was how many games as opposed to why is Zeke stumbling around drunk in Vegas at night. Vegas!!! This actually turned out great.

We don't care about these players character
Im not a hypocrite in any way. Ive been consistent on this my entire life. If the guy aint in jail and can work at Kmart, then Im ok with him playing for my team on Sunday. If OJ could carry the rock today like an mvp back, Id sign him to a deal today! These guys arent my friends, arent my kids role models, aint coming to my house for dinner. Do all the crack and hookers you can during the week... just stay sober on Saturday and Sunday and I am all good.

If that’s actually assault the stuff you’ve mentioned no wonder folks want to be victims so badly. The threshold for assault is pretty dang flimsy. If I’m bigger than you and say I’d hit you that’s assault. That’s a joke honeslty. It seems moreso like a James Harden stepback perversion of the rules than what the rule should actually be.

many here expect every Cowboy player to be home at 9:30 and in bed by 10pm every night.

Just like every other job or career...if you want to succeed and prosper you have to play by the rules. If you want to make it in the NFL, you have to want to work out and train like a fiend and you have to stay off the Commish's radar. Zeke, pay heed.

Yeah it happens more often than some think but when that’s never been you’re reality from experience or seeing it happen it blows peoples minds. I’ve been guilty of doing this myself at times. I’ve definitely saw the beginnings of adult action after a fight. I’ve done it personally after just a verbal “fight” with a female friend where alcohol was involved before so I know it’s possible for a physical fight too. Sometimes girls like that stuff hard as it is for some to believe

I spent 4 years in the Marine Corps and served in the Gulf War... I would guess that would meet your definition of "Physical?" That being said, I dont claim to be, nor do I act like a tough guy. I am not getting into a fist fight with anyone for any reason. I am a legal concealed carrier for a reason. I will not throw down with some 20 something year old tough guy. Young tough guys should be very careful in todays insane world. The young stud could be out just having his normal weekend of getting drunk and throwing down... until he tries to throw down with that "Nerd," that has something holstered.

Get wasted, pick up ladies, have a good time, but dont be stupid and violent.

Get used to this word..... REASONABLE. I hated it, I still hate it, but tit is the best standard we have. Last summer a guy drove his car into me on purpose. We had a pretty heated exchange. I didnt like where this was headed so I got back into my car, seat belt was on, im in a convertible miata, down low, and very much defenseless. The guy threatened to beat my arse, and walked about 10 ft very fast up to my car and opened my car door. Did I have reason to believe his threat? Prosecutors and juries are asked a simple question. Under the circumstances, would a reasonable person believe this person's threat and give you reason to fear for your safety? If so, assault just took place, whether he actually touched you or not.

By the way, the guy that opened my door could have been shot and killed if I wasnt cool under pressure. My gun was six inches from his chest, and he did what I wanted, he backed up, we both drove away and he lived for another day.

So I guess when you’re not carrying you’re done eh “nerd”? Sounds like you’re a legal concealed carry because you can’t fight to me. Not saying it’s required because how often do adults really get into fights but I don’t feel the need to have a gun everywhere I go either. Some people just seem more scary than others.

I didnt say he was charged, I said he very likely committed assault. Pay attention to the words. And I know you are a tough guy from your posts, but someone can pretty much talk smack to you all day and as soon as YOU get violent, you would be going to jail, and would deserve to, as you said.
