Actually, Trulucks probably has the best steak in Austin. Its rather expensive though, so I haven't taken you there yet.

Trulucks is seafood and steaks, but their steaks are some of the best I've had. So that's where I send people for steaks, "girly".

Throw in some diced hearts of palm and a little bit of roasted red bell pepper and use it for a sauce over grilled red snapper.

last update, my GF graduated and the whole weekend was amazing.

as for the steakhouse, 10/10 the service was great the food kept coming, the steaks all came out cooked perfectly to order the flavor was amazing! i can not speak on a regular dining experience but if you are going with a group for a private party it was awesome and i would recommend it to anyone. we got our own room and service staff and the drinks stayed filled and dishes were cleared right away and the courses came quickly. the sides weren't anything to write home about but the apps and steak more than made up for it. ohband get the cheesecake, it is better than cheesecake factory and is so light and fluffy it just melts in your mouth
