Those knee injuries can happen anytime.

At camp yesterday, almost all the OL were not wearing braces.

I say almost, because I didn’t see any of the OL with braces on.

I think that is ridiculous.

Why take a chance in practice?

I'm all for the lineman wearing braces in practice.

Hopefully Steele is indeed having his best camp ever, but this is the first such comment I've heard about him this camp and McCarthy speaks over the top glowingly about every player when asked. So who knows...
I will say if Steele plays like he did last year he won't be on the team. or at least under his current contract, next year.

By my estimation, he was still recovering from his injury.. sure well enough to play, but not at the top of us game. I expect to see him improved this year. If he doesn't improve this year.. well then we know what we have in him, would be disappointing going forward.
