Oh for sure they would. They spent 4.5 million…that’s nothing for a swing tackle as good as Steele. I don’t know what they will do I’m just saying if Jerry is saying he’s the swing tackle then it means he’s a back up.

Of course he was. Hell Noah Brown was better than Gallup coming off injury….anyone taking Noah Brown over a healthy Gallup? Same goes for Tyron. Healthy he’s a legit top 10 tackle. He’s still dominant at times. If he’s hurt then yeah we have a issue.

Can you say Tyron is going to be healthy again? Look how many games he has missed the last 3 years. I think Tyron was and hopefully still is an excellent player. But if healthy why take Steele out? Tyler Smith already proved he can play both guard and tackle on the left side. The plan in the playoffs when they knew Tyron was coming back was to shift Tyler to guard and Tyron goes back to left tackle. Why change now? Get the 5 best offensive linemen on the field.

Tyron will probably be needed at RT to start the season. This is good for Steele as well, giving him time to get near 100% before returning.

Oh I don’t disagree with you. When people said Tyron would be the swing I didn’t believe it or agree with it. Same goes for Steele I don’t believe or agree he should be on the bench. I want my 5 best linemen out there and we have guys who can play all over the field.

I also think this can change what if they draft a tackle they had a high grade on? Im not buying it. A good problem to have but a problem they can easily fix.


Unless they want to screw with Steele’s contract he’s about to sign….

Tyron with a whole offseason at RT will be improved. Steele’s run blocking last year was on point last year tho. So looks like there’s a chance we might be going offense lineman in first round..

Im not gonna sit here and lie and say I’ve seen him play but for a guy to be cut mid season and be on his 3rd team in less than a year? No one can convince me he’s good enough to have Steele as a swing tackle….
