Twitter: Steele to be swing tackle this year

Tyron Smith will either need to be injured or show a significant decline in blocking to be a swing tackle. He will most likely move back to LT and push Tyler inside.

Nonsense. You don't make the superior player the swing tackle.
What metric you using besides your trash eye test? Pff/pro football reference say Steele is better. I thought you were all about qualified people getting positions? All that crying about iisha Morrison and wokeness and here you are rooting on the unqualified. Coward as usual

Steele is said to be ahead of schedule on the injury, but they still may slow play his return and reps. A slow approach makes Tyron the starter at RT all offseason. I think Steele will finish the season as the starting RT.

Tyron Smith that missed most of the season and kicked out to RT that he hasn't played since his rookie season...

Context matters. But you keep up your usual quality posts.
Why did Jason Peter's play better than tyron? Switched positions mid game at 40 years old. Keep making excuses like a clown

Maybe at 26. But more than likely, they take the best interior OL prospect on the board at 58.
I wouldn't rule out a small trade back, although they haven't shown interest in trading back for years.

You know more about him than me. Didn't know he had been around like that. I'm with you though. Steele, Smith, and Smith on the field seems like a better option than just about anything out there right now. Hate the idea of going into the draft with glaring holes on both interior lines.
Yeah I remember his name being linked to the Cowboys about a trade….just for him to get cut then I think he went to the Steelers. Seems like what we do most off seasons. Probably a one year signing….

And in a passing league Tyron is like 3 levels better than Steele in pass protection.

Ask Martin.
On the right side?

Tyron wasn't all that great on the right last year. Looked like a slight decline from Steele, actually.

If we're talking left side, I agree.

He was rusty and it was clear. He didn’t have enough games to come back. I think the issue here is they don’t want to move Tyler from left tackle……seems like Steele gets the edge as a run blockers but not pass blocker.

Tyron in the postseason wasn't much better. 64 grade. How much time did he need to be tyron again?
