My posts will have just as much effect on the outcomes of games as yours will

If you have bothered to actually read my posting history you will be aware that I have posted positive and negative stuff

When the team has been as poorly built and underachieved for as long as we have, it is not unreasonable that there are many issues with that team

Like I said, just like mask masochism, ignoring reality is not my thing either

Peace (as one poster used to say):)

Fair enough. :)

Well help me understand. You give the Steelers a pass for their personnel because Dick Lebeau has 2 rings but you don't give Kiffin a pass despite him having a championship and his defense also going 8-8 just like Lebeau's did? Am I understanding correctly?

Lebeau has SB rings with the steelers
When kiffin gets 2 with the cowboys we will be good

But why make yourself miserable over it?

No one can post disappointment and anger in post after post and not carry it around with them on a daily basis.

Who is miserable? I can promise you that if this was a bar and you could hear me, you wouldn't think that way.

Why are you so sensitive that you can't handle constructive criticism of your team and anybody who can lives a miserable life?

I'm a Phillies fan. They've sucked large for most of their existence. It doesn't effect my life, but you can count on me ripping the team whenever the subject's baseball.

The problem here is the issues this team has today is the same as it's had in the late 90's. So you read the same criticisms year after year. But they're legit. The only other option for a fan is to pretend they went away and the Cowboys are merely snake bitten.

Makes me nervous because I think claiborne will be limited to a quarter or 2 the first 2 games. All we have is webb besides safeties to play cb if somebody gets hurt.

I'm not miserable about it. I'll gripe here and there but carry on... post after post? Nah.

Life is too short.

And if this team shows some improvement over the last 2? I'm going to enjoy it.

Even if it doesn't end in a SB victory.

I wonder if their fans are losing their collective heads over this move like people are here?

They have pretty good safeties Of the 6 safeties Dallas is carrying 3 of them serve no purpose other than special teams. I don't think anyone was losing their heads over the move just saying it would be nice to have a 5th CB on the roster like Sterling Moore who could also serve as an emergency Safety. Frampton,Heath and McCray are good ST players so no knock on them I just think some people saw more value in carrying Moore. It's not a bad move but if the injury bug strikes at CB it could really hurt because they choose to go thin at that position

Unless those two Super Bowl titles make the Steelers CB's immune from injury, the decision is just as questionable for them as it is for Dallas. Both teams are going to be scrambling if there is a injury at the position.

I live about 70 miles from Buffalo...

And I'll tell ya, the fans of those teams been through far more pain and suffering (and I do realize how stupid that sounds... "pain and suffering" from a losing football team... really?) than Cowboy fans could ever know, yet they'll fill up that stadium and make noise that Cowboy fans should be envious of. The Bills will lose, the fans will be down for a day and then start the cycle of rooting for their team all over again.

I think it would be easier for some Cowboy fans to support the team if the 5 SB wins never happened.
Every now and then some malcontent fan says I have learned to accept mediocrity. That is their excuse for why I am a positive fan. Utter freaking nonsense. They can't accept pride in excellence. No one flips a switch to win a Super Bowl. It takes luck, focus, drive, and chemistry. I don't need to forget our Super Bowls, our division crowns, our 20 straight winning years under Tom Landry. Those things mattered. They show that this team has achieved a level of excellence that others teams can only dream of. Those Bills teams were awesome. The Bills haven't been to the playoffs since those teams. Forgive me if I don't feel sorry for our fan's frustrations. They need to learn how fortunate we are and were. They need to learn to take some pride in what this team is. Win or lose, that is what a fan is. I know it was a mistake to speak my mind, but I am dead serious.
