Sometimes a different scheme is all it takes but even if we mismanaged him, would it be the 1st time? Probably not. It happens.

In any event, if he can't find the moxie to tackle when the situation calls for it, he won't fair well.

I was fairly certain Webb would be picked up by another team. I am surprised it is the Stealers.

One thing is a little strange, though. Perhaps the "Give me a Real GM" crowd can help me out. What is a 'real GM' doing rummaging through the Cowboy dumpster (and the defensive dumpster at that) picking up GM Jerry's mistakes (wasn't Webb a colossal draft failure by a wannabe-GM?)? 'Real GM-ers' can you shed some light on this situation?

Steelers secondary is horrid. Just because another team picked him up doesn't mean it was a good pick. Just like Stanbeck, Johnson, AOA, Carter, etc. Jerry is a horrible GM. He hurts this teams depth constantly trying to look like a competent GM.

Happens here a lot because we don't know how to build a team. We have a GM more interested in glitz and glam, than X's and O's. He is more interested in looking smart than being smart.

Someone needs to stop defending the worst GM in the history of the league. Most of Jerry's fourth round busts were reaches that could have been picked up as UDFA. He wastes picks and you think it's cute to defend his ineptness with snarky remarks, great.

The Steelers also signed Felix Jones after he fizzled here so there is that too.

Another wasted draft pick. Was a 4th rounder just last year. Tsk tsk tsk.

They really need to start trading that 4th rounder every year, because they have absolutely no clue what to do with it.

Doug Free was the last time they actually got anyone of value with that pick, and that was in 2007.

Since then:

2008: Tashard Choice
2009: Not going to even bother.
2010: Akwasi Owusu-Ansah
2011: David Arkin
2012: Matt Johnson
2013: B. W. Webb

Anthony Hitchens is next up, hopefully he breaks the cycle. I think I'd have tolled the dice with Tom Savage, Taylor Hart or Telvin Smith.

Apparently you didn't listen to what he just said and that it has been reported that he had to be stopped so we didn't draft JF. You can't justify his job as a GM. You can't justify what he says and what he has done to this franchise. Just stop trying. The number of people on this forum that defend that clown just make me smh.
