Steelers Cowboys Game Dec 7th 2008

that was a field position game. that newman play lost it. just because they didn't score...they gave the dallas offense at the 1yd line. and the rest of the game was played on the cowboys side.

steelers don't convert that 3rd down, dallas keeps the momentum and perhaps wins the game.

once dallas lost field position, it was over. that game required the defense to play lights out all game, but it couldn't.

the offense wasn't going to be able to drive against the pitt def. and the special teams wasn't up-to-par.

I'm sorry, but if all it takes is one bad play by the defense to lose a game (and that's not what happened here), then that's a scathing indictment of the offense. Poor field position? Too damn bad. With all that talent at their dispopsal, a few first downs should not have been insurmountable. Don't blame these guys:
