Steelers Do What Cowboys Fear

The Steelers usually finish games, when we can never make it out of the fourth quarter. I believe that if we beat Philly in the final game last year. Things would look alot different than they were. The NFL loves to screw us over with a brutal schedule at the end of the season.

I saw nothing wrong with the hold. Change the kicker.

All for Choice starting. Just get another O-line to block for him. Or, somehow reteach the line Dallas has to.

you didnt see it because its so subtle yet that subtle gaff makes the world of a difference. just like a slight change is pitching mechanics you dont normally pick up can change the out come of the pitchers pitches. Mcbriar is on record saying yes he is at fault. he is reaching out for the football instead of letting the ball hit him in the hands and waiting on it. when he reaches out the point at which he places the ball is all out of whack. where folk thinks the ball is going to be placed and where its actually placed is just a tad off. just being a tad off can snowballs into a kick that can hook and hook badly.

you mean the reigning Superbowl Champion Steelers? the same Steelers who are a consistent contender year in and year out and have won 2 of the last 4 Superbowls? comparing them to our pretender Cowboys who haven't been a contender since 1996. yeah rofl....
I'll never give them credit for the 2005 SB against Seattle, that was tainted by the Officials.

Half of their season was tainted by officials last season too... i.e. Holmes "TD" against the Ravens... Holmes "TD" in the Super Bowl...

oh bullcrap. if you can't make it out of the 4th quarter - NEVER make it out - we'd not be 8-4.

do you know how the schedules are determined?

Any idea how many 4th quarter leads they've blown this year? 'Motion' does not necessarily mean the same thing as 'progress.' Make changes when you can improve your team by doing so, or don't make the changes.

you are wrong about the kicker.

Aren't they the reigning champs with 6 Superbowls? Funny we were predicted to win it all in 2008. Yet some teams had other plans.....

Just like Jeff Reed has had Two incidents since August of being arrested while intoxicated and it's been swept under the rug by the NFL.

S Holmes has been arrested 3 times since he was drafted.

Once last season during their super bowl run. Super Bowl MVP arrested !!

They get a pass.

Even Steely McBeam, their mascot got arrested for DUI.

:lmao2: :laugh2: :lmao2: :laugh2:

Change or at least adjustment. Change is scary because it's fear of the unknown. While I applaud the off season moves which took courage, this is an example of different in-season philosophies and approaches by two organizations. One has won 2 Super Bowls in the same time frame that one hasn't won a playoff game.

"We're fine" won't cut it in Pittsburgh. Accountability does.

From ESPN...

"We can't stay status quo in terms of how we're approaching this and expect the pattern of behavior or outcome to change," Tomlin said. "That's unrealistic. That's hoping. This is not a hope business."

Losing three leads in the fourth quarter against the lowly Raiders (4-8) made Tomlin lose that, and a lot more.

Tomlin was as close to agitated as he gets in public on Monday, suggesting longevity and loyalty don't count for nearly as much when a team is losing like the Steelers are. Changes are coming.

"Nothing stays the same in this game," Tomlin said. "Players are ascending, players are descending. People catch up with schemes, schemes evolve. Playing and coaching, this thing is ever-changing."

I'm not advocating large scale changes in a playoff stretch or change for the sake of change, but how's this for just three suggestions.

Starting Choice? Changing holders? Getting Butler and Ogletree more reps?

Just sayin'.

Man, I would freaking love to have Tomlin instead of Wade right now.

Yeah cuz he speaks so well...

The Steelers were built as a running team...they have slowly gotten away from what their franchise has always been....is it a wonder why they have fallen?

They have gotten away from what made them a beast.

They re no longer a beast because they can't run the ball any more. Go ahead and argue this point, but do some research before you do it.

Mike Tomlin could probably destroy Brandon Jacobs in a fight. Man I wish he was our coach. Cuz good ole chub chub isn't going to cut it in the near future.

So you want 6-6 Tomlin over 8-4 wade? I may not be a genius but I am pretty sure 8>6
