I remember in my day when we walked to school in 2 feet of snow.

It's not that simple, as Governor you are responsible for the overall safety of your citizens, especially in hazardous weather conditions. So, there will be times when the government must step in and protect citizens from themselves. What we need is for the governor to get the hell out from in front of the camera and let grown adults decide whether they want to risk going to the game or not, and then let those same grown adults accept the consequences (whatever they may be) of their decisions
A worthy reason, IMOAnd this is the real reason she wanted the game postponed

And the NY Gov stands1000% and this commissioner definitely sits down to pee.
And snowblowers will have to be electric effective immediatelyGovernor Hochul also announced that for safety reasons there will be no tackling and flag football will be played instead. NFL boss Goodell agreed saying “this is where the NFL is headed as you can see by all of our promotional activities. We expect a gender equal league by 2035”.
Except for the fact it's completely wrong.^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Post of the afternoon
A travel ban is also being put in place beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday. What we need is for the governor to get the hell out from in front of the camera and let grown adults decide whether they want to risk going to the game or not
New York has bigger "safety" concerns affecting the entire state right now. Perhaps the gov might do well to try and fix those instead of grandstanding about a football gameIt's not that simple, as Governor you are responsible for the overall safety of your citizens, especially in hazardous weather conditions. Also, a lot of people paid a lot of money for those tickets, so if a blizzard prevents you and your family from going for the sake of the safety of your family...then because they didn't move the game, those fans who didn't want to take the risk will be out all that money.
.
Nothing to do with keeping people safeA worthy reason, IMO
keeping Americans safe > a playoff game
Travel ban? For a snowstorm in Buffalo? This happens several times every year between Dec and March. It's called winter lolA travel ban is also being put in place beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday.
I guess you missed that part.
