The drama of owning and running the Dallas Cowboys has to take a toll on the entire family. Perhaps they can talk some sense into Jerry and convince him to either sell or hire a true GM and step away from the daily grind of running a team. I know it’s not reasonable to think it will happen but perhaps of Kerry knew the toll it was taking on his family he’d think more clearly. If not, I feel like Stephen will at least hire a GM and be more of a traditional owner. At least I’m hoping.

I do not see his immediate family doing anything to remove or change Jerry Jones. He has it covered by the use of nepotism. We all know that Stephen is all in with Jerry since he is second in command and echoes what Jerry says. Junior (Jerry Jones Jr) has a cushy job with a vice president title. Sissy (daughter Charlotte Jones Anderson) likewise is on the payroll with her own VP title. Jerry's wife has her prize art collection displayed at the stadium. So the kids (at least the legitimate ones) and the wife are not going to rock the boat and throw Jerry overboard. They are with him till the end I suspect.

The grandkids are likely still to young to speak up. Some are adults but still not mature enough to the point they would go against their grandfather and parents. And those grands have to keep in mind those fat trust funds that I am sure that are in place. I look for some/many of them getting nice jobs and titles with the Cowboys.

Nepotism at this level is a bad thing. It often eliminates criticism that a person like Jerry might actually listen to.

I've been saying this since the all in crap was said. I feel like they are positioning the team to maximize the sale. Feels like a transition period like when We went from Tex Schram to The Jones clan. Same feel

Where are his kids? It's obvious Jerry is sundowning. Idk why his kids are such enablers. It's shameful honestly.

Every indicator sure seems to point to that.
No one knows how the kids will handle the succession of power.
Who will run the team?
He can probably get close to 15 billion for the Cowboys Today.
He's 82 the dance is almost over.
As I said, it would not surprise me if someone like Jeff Bezos or Musk, Saudi Arabians, ended up buying the Cowboys.

It may get to that point, which is where any real hope lies, but there’s no way it’s going to be just yet.

He is still hung up on those 12 win seasons and has no idea that they blew the window and the roster is in serious decline.

He literally thinks he will add Jeanty like he did Elliott and 2025 will be like 2016. Promise.

Don't get your hopes up. We are in football hell. The JonesBoys aren't going to sell unless forced to by the league due to a scandal.
Exactly. Why sell? You can literally do nothing and your investment continues to increase in value. You'd be an idiot to sell an NFL team at this point. And yes, you probably think Jerry is an idiot and he may be when it comes to football but not when it comes to business.

Do you think Jerry is going to live forever?
Do you?
Have you any inside info on how the children feel about how the inheritance will be distributed and managed?
Money and Families are sometimes like oil and water they simply don't mix well.
Like I said previously the smart play for Jerry and his Family is to sell now while they can still get TOP $.

I can't believe I actually agree with SAS. This is one of my chief gripes with this organization: The non-action of his family and his inner circle. Aren't they embarrassed also? Where are they? Why can't anyone with some guts and inner fortitude do SOMETHING?

We probably need to start a go fund me to whichever reporter questions him about this. He's going completely off the rails that interview.

Ain't nobody named Jones saving this ship.

Where is the great Will McClay in all of this? I have to assume he's being a complacent yes man. I consider everyone around Jerry that refuses to challenge the status quo a part of the problem.
