Owner continually slapping fans in the face.

Imagine owning a team and sitting down and being interviewed by the guy who repeatedly laughs at your fans, your team, and your GM decisions.

Jerry keeps proving what he cares about most. Being seen.

That’s why he couldn’t wait for the Tuna to leave, the tuna was out front.

Truthfully, I had graded Smith's interviewing a B- up to that point. Guy is too chummy with his buddy. I just raised my grade to an A for two reasons:

1. He hits Jones with the question (paraphrasing) of why Jones should remain as general manager after his record of the past 28 years. Jones hem-and-haws the usual narcissist rhetoric nonsense but it is a question that should be asked of him every time he breathes into a microphone.

2. Immediately afterwards, Smith eloquently describes the reasons why Jones is well-respected around the league. He precedes his question in this way to seek Jones' introspective of how his peers and others see his contributions to the league's legacy. Smith does not refer to Jones' teams winning Super Bowls as any measure of that respect.

I gotta respect that. Well done, Stephen A. Smith.

In response to a question about Demarcus Lawrence stating he was tired in the playoff game, Jones starts waxing poetically of his Razorback days and practicing in front of large crowds of 15,000 or so Arkansas fans. He reflects on his experience during practice in those situations as inspirational to him. Essentially, he holds training camps with as many people and fans attending to be equally inspiring to his players.

Lawrence was ridiculed for being tired versus Green Bay. I was one of his ridiculers but I will take a bit of my criticism back.

Being a Dallas Cowboy 24/7/365 can be taxing. Players should excel despite that fame related pressure but it is a part of being a Cowboy nonetheless. I must ask myself, "Is a made-for-Jones training camp necessary for his players? Could a less 'fan intrusive' training camp environment be beneficial for his overall roster? Just musing while typing. I know it is something Jones never really thought hard about as a GM.

Jones confirms his annual GM roster strategy (paraphrasing). Hopefully draft well. Put enormous faith in draftee's playing well. Do not aggressively go after higher priced free agents who could help the team. Not a secret but something he does not emphasize often.

There is a difference between a prediction and stating a future event is already a fact. Do not fall for opinion-made-fact doctrine.
He has stated his opinions as far as I've seen. He may use hyperbole like anybody else, but he's just giving his prediction based upon available actions and info. He doesn't get paid like Sturm, or others either. He's been right so far, and none of them have been.

I don't see how the opinion-made-fact doctrine applies here. Nobody has made any guarantees, and like he says in his reply, you are being one sided against him. Hold others to the same standards.

I understand.

I have but accept you may not believe I have done so in the past also.

Mountaineer is a bot - in function if not in form. Exists simply to generate "discussion" and page clicks.

There's a reason it doesn't talk about anything else but Dak - same as Pappy. They're more SEO features than they are people.
Don't put my name in your filthy Dak mouth.
Did you inflate your Dak doll bud to be ready for the big moment?
Get to it ASAP..............

Tell him you mean old bot. Dak fans always come with the insults. I think that kid is paranoid about something.
