I think this is a little off. Offense was scoring points in the 4th quarter after being way behind...they set a record. They couldn't generate points the first 3 quarters when the D was on the field all game trying to keep them in it. I think the stats are skewed.
I said the Offense was scoring points, the Defense wasn't. How exactly can that be skewed?

Not surprised. Smith hates the Cowboys, he's a Giants fan. Everybody knows Skip. He's not a Jerry fan either.

Uh, Skip is very much a Jerry Jones fan.

They spent more time talking about Rob Ryan's hair than anything else. Apparently he'd be a HC by now if he'd have cut it.

That whole conversation was as stupid as the Rob Parker deal with Griffin. Oh no, your hair is a little long, so you'll never get a head coaching job but you can be FAT AS HELL & it's perfectly fine. Just a stupid topic all around.

What a joke! Who does Stephen Smith think he is? I doubt very much Jerry gives a hoot what ESPN thinks about him, especially these two clowns.

I doubt Jerry gives a hoot what anybody thinks. As long fans keep spending their money to fill his stadium that's all he cares about

What is your problem with fat people? There are several fat coaches in the NFL. It must not be a concern for the owners that hire these fat men.

The quality of that show has improved quite a bit since the hole "cornball" debacle. They're actually using real stats and researching info now. Whereas before--as Mark Cuban pointed out while on set--it was mainly composed of inflammatory and hollow talking points to drive ratings, they're at least attempting to be taken seriously these days.

They make some good points. I think as a city, we are just really frustrated because this team is so eerily similar to those Mavericks teams coached by Avery Johnson. They just couldn't get over the hump, and you had everyone nationally calling out Dirk and saying that he folds in big games. I think most intelligent local fans realize how lucky we are to have Romo and Dirk as the faces of the franchises here. The guys are clutch but--like with Dirk--it's going to take a title for Romo to be vindicated.

It really just took a solid coaching staff (canning Avery for Rick Carlisle and co.) along with a couple minor roster moves, to get the Mavs over the hump and bring a title to the city. Cuban sucked up his pride and admitted that Avery was young and not yet ready to lead the team where it needed to go.

Stephen A. is definitely correct in implying that Jerry is fully aware of the situation here. He just wants to do it his own way. That's what stings the most. As fans, there's really nothing that we can do except sit back and watch.

At least the focus is starting to be placed on Garrett and not everybody is falling for this act anymore. Jerry can 't cover up this debacle by make other's scapegoats anymore. Karma for putting everything on Wade during the firing, while giving JG absolute control over this offense from the get go...

I think it is funny that Smith and Bayless are basically repeating what most fans on here think about Jerry, but are getting slammed by those same fans. Are we the only ones who can criticize this team?

Like it or not, these two guys have pretty much been spot on with their comments about this franchise for the past, oh, 10-15 years.

Our Emperor has no clothes. They just say it in a more entertaining way because saying "Jerry is an idiot" gets old and you have to spice it up a little for TV.

I've got a solution for everyone slamming the mediots who denegrate the sacred Star.... GET OVER IT! If we were constantly fielding a winner, we wouldn't be constantly criticized and mocked. We are who they say we are. They don't talk like this about NE or GB because they're always competitive. They gave NYG a ton of flack this year when they fell apart and they've got 2 recent SB rings! Their job is to criticize failure and that is what we have exemplified over the past almost 2 decades.

I'm sick of this "the world is against us, woe is me" attitude that a lot of us have. Remember, if you feel like the whole world is against you, the problem is probably you.

I don't have a problem with fat people. My point was, the length of Rob Ryans hair is as much of a non-issue as being overweight. Neither should prevent you from getting a coaching job in the NFL, which is what those 2 bobble heads were suggesting. It was a stupid topic & had zero merit.

:hammer: I don't disagree with much either of them said. Save perhaps the bit about Garrett being a gopher. These guys may be annoying, but they mostly hit the nail on the head.

How about you tell what they really said? Yah, they both went of on Jerry, but why did they go off?

They both went off on Jerry because he fired the wrong guy. They were going off because how can Jerry give the hapless garrett a pass? They want Garrett fired and were bashing Jerry for not firing him.

They couldnt have been more on point.
