Anyone know his contract details? He's having a great season and I would hate to lose him after it.

We've discussed resigning him not long ago here on this board. Some where for, some where against. The guy has been playing very well and if we can sign him cheaply before he becomes a full fledged FA at the end of the season, I think it's a MUST do. Especially considering it's very likely that Spears takes a walk.

Bowen is under a 1 year $1.545 million contract, which I believe is a restricted FA offer.

The price will probably be high for Spears. If it's more than 30 then he can take a walk. I don't see how he has any leverage unless some team overpays. ala Chris Canty.
