Stephen: Cowboys are committed to Prescott long term

Garrett:
Few Years as offensive coordinator. Interesting enough to get these teams to request interviews for head coaching jobs: Ravens, Falcons, Lions, Broncos, Rams

Then 8 Years or so as head coach. Let's not forget. Jason did have a winning record... solid regular season win percentage: winning 56% of games.

Garrett wasn't horrible, as per the myth-narrative around here. He just wasn't ever top-drawer, which is the story of the Cowboys the last few decades. Maybe good, certainly not great.

If a guy was good enough to make it Olympics of Football (the NFL) and was above average against the Olympic field...does that guy deserve perpetual insult and disdain? I am embarrassed at how this forum treats its coaches and players.
My comment was more a criticism of keeping Garrett for 9.5 seasons as head coach when it was obvious he was just as average to slightly above average coach.
No other teams do that.
Most GMs have the ability to judge if a HC is exceptional or not after 3 seasons.

Stephen is just as bad as Jerry at undermining the coaches. He learned from his daddy.
