Other GMs give a coach a few seasons to prove their worth and if they don't they're gone.

Garrett wasn't horrible, as per the myth-narrative around here. He just wasn't ever top-drawer, which is the story of the Cowboys the last few decades. Maybe good, certainly not great.
If a guy was good enough to make it Olympics of Football (the NFL) and was above average against the Olympic field...does that guy deserve perpetual insult and disdain? I am embarrassed at how this forum treats its coaches and players.
