Barber is every bit as good as Jackson, if not better.
And IMO, I'd rather have MB3.

Getting Jackson most likely means the position of our first pick falls (we'd win more). So we wouldn't be picking at #11 with Jackson.

Team with Julius: 6-10 and drafting 11th.
Team with Jackson: 6-10? 7-9? 8-8? 9-7?

Jackson was not better than JuJo his first couple of seasons...he was average...he had a great yr last yr and this yr, well he looks average again...even before he got hurt he looked average

In the context of the trade, let's look at all affected players.

JP Losman - 1 good year, but benched a year later
Jackson - 1 great year, the rest so-so
Julius - 1 great half year, the rest so-so; will leave as UFA
Spears - 0 great years, all so-so; getting pushed by Hatcher
Ware - 2 great years and rising

That said, I'd still make the trade. Julius' half year and Ware's potential made the 'boys look like geniuses.
