Either way, the better he plays, the better chances of us having more Ws. That's a good thing

If he has an All Pro year it will cost A LOT to sign him. If we were to lose him in free agency we’ll get a 5th. If he does have a big year we’ll probably franchise him if we can’t come to an agreement on a new contract.

This is a sales pitch to fans. No way in hell do you take targets away from CeeDee and give them to Pickens.

Lamb can simultaneously handle monster target volume and be top-notch efficient with that volume. He's just a stud. Ferguson will also get the customary Dak TE 60 catches, so Pickens' target share is basically what we threw at Tolbert or Cooks last season.

Pickens isn't really a high-volume guy anyway, so I think he can make do with a limited number of targets. In his 3 years with the Steelers, he caught 52, 63, and 59 passes. But he's got a bonkers 16.3 career YPC.

Been saying this for months. CD > TE > everyone else.

It's not a shot at Dak. At least thats not my intention. It's not a coincidence Romo was at his best in 2014 with our oline and Demarco bruising defenses.

We need the best version of Dak and I dont think that's flinging the ball 30+ times a game.

“We think of him as more than a (No. 2 wide receiver). … Here you get a guy who has experience, who has had great success in the NFL, obviously a tremendous competitor. He reminds a lot (of us) in our building of Dez Bryant, in terms of his competitiveness and what he brings to the field, his edge.
