He looked like the slowest player in football last year. He’s one of my favorite players of this era. He is over 8,000 yards, was hoping he’d hit 10k in Dallas. He should retire. He has nothing left.

Yeah, he does. Flipping finagler. It's frustrating, almost insulting how he and Daddy think fans are *more* stupid than they are.

To be fair, Zeke was playing with a bad leg again.

He did miss several games. And his rushes were among the lowest in his career due to the leg injury.

He scores a lot of touchdowns and he's a warrior.

Jerry will rework his contract. Zeke wants to play another year.

It wont kill you haters.

Leave Jerry alone......the man is in his twilight. He's gonna release Zeke and then you all can bash Malik and the next guy.

I keep telling people it's going to get much worse when Jerry dies. Stephen is even more clueless and will probably insist on running everything himself.

Zeke is done. You can get any scrub to get 2 yards.
As long as he takes a paycut to get those 2 yards, then it's well worth it? lol Be nice to see multiple RBs who were dangerous from anywhere. Not continue to drag their feet with this situation! 100% time to move on.

Just say no to Zeke. I'd rather have a back that can get us 20 yards than Zeke that can only get 2 yards.

Stephen also known as Jerry 2.0 has no clue how to run a team. He is worst than his father into thinking they know what their doing.

If they sign Zeke to a contract, I ain't cheering for this team no more. I can find better things to do on Sundays.

It would be a terrible decision so you know that's what's gonna happen with Jerry and Junior calling the shots.

Rework his deal?

Even if he cuts his base salary from $11 million to the vet league minimu, he would still have a cap hit of liek $7 million.

That's preposterous for a guy like Elliott at this point.

He's done. Be smart. Send him packing. It's the smart football decision. But unfortunately smart goes out with the window with the Jones. They are more driven by loyalty and the fact they want to appear smart for keeping a guy that they drafted. And you guys still think it's just been bad luck we haven't even played in a NFCCG in 27 years?

It would hurt the team more.

Elliott is a middling back at this point in his career. He's worn down. He's not even in the same stratosphere as he was 4 years ago.

He has a massive cap hit and base salary for a TB. A restructure would hurt the team because you'd be kicking even more dead money into future years when he's going to be even worse than he is now. You are limiting your options in future years by restructuring him.

A pay cut? As I said, even if you cut his pay to league minimum, due to signing bonuses and a previous restructure, his cap hit would still be around 7-8 million, which is ridiculous for a backup TB on the decline. And plus, why would Zeke take a pay cut to that low a base? He's gonna want at least a few million. So even if he agreed to cut his base from $11 million to $3 million, the team is still eating up $9 million in cap space for a TB that isn't even in the Top 20 at this point in his career anymore.

How you guys can't see that's bad business, I have no idea.

Stephen should get his eyes checked. He clearly has tunnel vision...

These two guys are absolutely out of their freaking minds. Do they actually believe what they are saying? Can 2 adult billionaire men be that naive and delusional? I can't believe that my 50 yr passion, the Dallas Cowboys, has been cursed and ruined by these two incompetent buttwipes. Unreal.
