Okay, nobody's said it yet so I will. I can’t think of a single good reason to put an NFL team in London. While moving a team to London may be financially profitable for the NFL, it simply does not make any sense logistically.

First off, Los Angeles needs a team first. Then if the league still feels the need to go international, Toronto should be next. Aside from that, there are other USA cities who would surely like to have a team and could probably support one. Stop with the greed, NFL!!!

Exactly, as mentioned above its just a novelty there. How would a team over there attract free agents? Does anyone expect germany, the uk or any country to start producing nfl talent? Maybe im missing something, but i dont think so

That's really not fair to those divisions, though. That means they have to fight through more teams to get to the playoffs. If they are going to do it and they are taking the NFL to an international stage with the addition of London, why not get other countries involved? And rather than messing with the current division structure, they should simply add a division each to the NFC and the AFC. You could make them all outside countries, so we could have the AFC International and the NFC International.

Talk about a diluted product.

Stephen Jones says his family has never been more passionate about having the #Cowboys in North Texas than ever before.
OK, I know what this means, but what is this supposed to mean?

The best way to handle re-alignment in the scenario of adding two team is to eliminate divisions altogether. AFC and NFC. Every team plays every other team in their conference and the top six teams got to the playoffs.

Sort of the way Baseball did in the 80's

The countries that make the most sense is Canada and Mexico. You could have 2 teams a piece from both countries. And another 2 from Europe, Britain and Germany. Having an international division is a great idea but I can see why NFL would be reluctant to expand like that, its a huge risk.

I wouldn't mind this.... means there'd be a job for me to play qb in that watered down league.

The Rams will be back in L.A. as soon as next year, the year after at latest. Their lease is up and the State has refused to upgrade the stadium to one of the top 7 in the league as stipulated in the contract.

The attendance was just as good as an NFL game in the United States. By growing the sport internationally, not only do you get more fans, but you can get better players, which can in turn grow the sport as well.

They have to go international at some point. After London I don't know. I used to think Mexico City but not so sure now.

My son lives in Toronto and that city doesn't seem that interested in football although I may be very wrong.

Oakland has a storied past, but I wouldn't be surprised if they moved to LA.

St. Louis Rams are another team that might be primed to move overseas or to Vegas.

Buffalo Bills might be primed to move.

I think the first time that moves will start a trend if successful in London.

They guy who bought Buffalo owns the Sabres also. He's not moving them.

They want their own team, not a Buffalo team. That's why it may seem like fans didn't come out for the Buffalo games.

I'd love it, since i'm a Toronto sports fan, and i know many others would too if it was a true Toronto team and not just Buffalo going up north.

There's really no difference.

There's really no difference.

Nobody cares about the Bills in Canada, just because they are close doesn't mean anybody really cares about them. Having your own Toronto team would make people care a lot more.

So yes...big difference.

Right on.... Sadly I cannot like this post yet but thank you for voicing my opinion as well..... While I love the NFL and the Cowboys, football is still soccer everywhere else in the world. That is one of the main reasons I laughed so hard when Big Ben said, "if the Cowboys are America's team, then we are the world's team." What a moron. lol

I do like the ideal of expanding, I just think expanding overseas is so far off before fulfilling certain cities and states in the US.
