I’m actually surprised they are acknowledging it.

Good on them..

Now do something about it and don’t just ignore it.

Right now you have to overpay your QB because of the Eagles and Rams.. Don’t play that game.

Set your number and if Dak signs then fine.. If he doesn’t then fine.

To me it sounds like they are maintaining their current offer.

Dak will either have to cave, or sign the tender
From what Im to understand the money is agreed upon. Its the years 4 VS 5. They want 5. I think 4 is better anyways. Dak is tied to McCarthy. McCarthy's deal is 5 years, but coaches are usually fired the year before their contract is up if they arent going to be kept. If we reach point, then it is time for a rebuild and Prescott will be entering his 30's. At which point he comes off your books when you are hiring a new HC

The Boys over pay for Lawrence, Elliott and Cooper, Now Jerry and Stephen are learning their math, lol.
You Don't over pay early than suffer the consequences later.
These guys think the salary cap is just a bad rumor.

Dak needs to actually NEGOTIATE. This line in the sand, hard ball bull crap isn't going to work for once. Say what you want about the Dalton signing, but he is insurance in any event. We would rather not be forced to start him, but he's here for a reason.

I'm not going to do it because I'm lazy but I'd like to see the cap % allocated to starting QB over the last 15 years......

The money isn't really agreed upon though. They want the same guarantees but only 4 years, that's probably not going to happen.
