Because Thomas wasn't a Cowboys fan growing up? Or because Parcells probably *did* think he couldn't play anymore (why wait for training camp if you're sure, right?). Or because Parcells isn't the type to let a good player have a shot at a ring and clean house at the same time--and do Jerry a favor in the process? Or because we really didn't have the cap room to keep Ayodele anyway? Or because Jerry and Parcells aren't likely to cut a deal like that? Or because, if they did, they wouldn't likely wait until the eve of draft day? Or because it doesn't fit your own interpretation of Ayodele for Fasano being a bad trade? We all know Jerry Jones.
