I asked why isn't he on someone's roster, and you respond that he's talking with the Cardinals.
Last time I checked, talking with the Cardinals doesn't equal being on the Cardinal's roster.

I guess if we wait long enough, and he signs, then my question will be moot. But when I asked it, CJ wasn't on any roster.
And, of course, my point in asking is that there's something up with him that he's not a part of a team yet.

See how I effortlessly explained that? And you don't even have to search Google. ;) :D

Almost any player we were to acquire could be diminished with the same type of question.
Let me give you an example....let's say we trade with Miami for Lamar Miller...you could say, if he is so good then why would the Dolphins trade him. Or you could ask why was Joseph Randle drafted late, or why would the Raiders let McFadden walk. This type of question diminishes every player except an early first round draft pick.

I would assume that you could figure out why CJ wasn't already on anyone's roster. It's just like a player drafted in the 4th round. Just because others decided he wasn't for them doesn't mean he wouldn't be any good.

Sigh. I simply asked why CJ isn't on someone's roster. There's a reason why.
I really didn't expect the question to lead to a long drawn-out discussion.

You can have the last word.

I have to admit the optimism I originally had prior to training camp is starting to diminish as days ago by partially due to this running back situation. Couple that in with a few other factors, and subconsciously my expectations are decreasing.

Not saying this is a bad thing because I won't be as upset if we don't have the success we had last year.

Why? Because Gus and Seastrunk suck? I could have told you that before Thursday.

The running backs are here already, and they'll be fine. They might add another one if the situation presents itself.

They'll figure it out.

Put this to bed already.

The Cardinals will put free agent Chris Johnson through a workout and physical on Sunday.

The news comes from Jay Glazer, who trained with CJ?K following his early-offseason drive-by shooting. If Johnson checks all the boxes medically and physically, we suspect the Cardinals will sign him immediately.

Johnson is going to be a Cardinal, he has flown the coop.
