We need to sign Chris Johnson and Stephen Jackson so that they take turns with Darren McFadden missing time due to similar ailments.
Lol
Certainly two of three don't have a good track record injury-wise.
Johnson is the exact polar opposite though....extremely durable player. Getting older though.

I'm not sold on Chris Johnson..however this question makes me wonder if Randle, McFadden and Dunbar would also not be on anyone else's roster if we cut them. This can't be true right? McFadden is playing for a small non guaranteed salary. We may have came close to cutting Randle after his underwear theft last year. The thought that we may have 3 backs who would be out of work today if not for us is as depressing as people having to argue over Chris Johnson.

This reminds me of what Romo said on Jimmy Kimmel when he was lobbying for Demarco to be resigned.

But ... but ... McFadden, Randle and Dunbar ARE on someone's roster, namely ours. CJ is not.

Why?

Word is Christine Michael is about to get cut... Just sayin.

But is he any better than Randle? McFadden?

I think they'd rather have Nile Davis or Lamar Miller. But that will take a trade.

Knile Davis is NFL starter good.

That would be awesome, but it would take a good player or high pick to get him.

Davis, Lamar Miller, Christine Michael, Matt Forte....there are names to watch out there.

You probably know this already...
CJ certainly is more expensive than DMC was or than Dunbar would be.
CJ has a bullet in his shoulder
CJ will want more of a role than 3rd back, most likely.

I feel pretty sure he'd do great in our offense, but he is older and he is a bit odd to say the least.
Something would have To go very wrong before Garrett would choose to upset the cart further with him.

Not getting into the domestic violence problem for any player. But I'm interested in Ray Rice the football player. You obviously cannot divorce the two at present but once he plays awhile without any incidents many people will be less interested.

Why? He seemed to be as good a football player as a boyfriend.

The Game thread last night was depressing as heck. Everybody was saying Weeden Sucked and I thought he looked good. Not only Weeden but just about everyone sucked if you followed the thread. I hope its not like that all year. One bad play and we suck?...........

Weeden actually looked really good with the exception of his last play.

Because he hasn't decided if he wants to sign with the Cardinals yet..
Didn't you hear this news?

It was a great draft, but I don't think there's any way they thought they'd come out of it without a RB.
