Yes: “We admit that our three decade tenure as hobbyist GMs has been an abject failure and we are
let me finish that lol, we are continuing onward because it is fun and someday we might get it right . Ace Ventura thinks we have a chance.

Following a loss like yesterday's, exec Vice Presidents, like Stephen, spouting tired rhetoric like "we needed a good wake up call like this....We need to execute better....did things that get you beat..blah blah." is so offensive on so many levels. It insults your intelligence as a fan.
I believe that saying things like this harm more than help the team. Sends the wrong message.
Jerruh and his paper trained assistant are dabblers, not serious football minds, either of them. Jerry is a dilletante in the football world and always will be.

I hear this same babble from him and his daddy every year. It means nothing. Less than nothing
Someone needs to make a doll, where when you press the button (mash the head), it blurts out babble talk from the Jonses......

Ok.. would you like him or expect him or anyone really to say differently?
Why does he have to say anything?

Most teams don't have front office guys doing weekly radio shows, but the Jones boys love to hear themselves talk and crave the attention.

It'd be one thing if they were stockpiling trophies. But they have been playing fantasy football front office for 28 years and nothing has been added to the trophy case.

If they didn't own the team they would've been fired decades ago. Some of us are tired of hearing them blather on like executives knowing no one else would hire them.

Sounds like many around here need to get professional help. The meltdown is at record levels. Sheesh.

It’s been 28 years. Even Rip Van Winkle only slept for 20 years.

Don’t see anything wrong with the quote at all….he’s not saying he prefers to lose, he’s saying they did lose and the fact that it happened is a wake up call to get their heads out of their *** and correct these mistakes or they’ll lose again and often.

Much ado about nothing really but I’m sure there will be outrage here
The outrage is the same results for 30 years, with no accountability from the front office. Stephen wouldn't be a ball boy on any other team, much less running day to day football operations.

Stupid. The only thing you learn from losing is how you lost. Losing is not a wake up call it is a lost. Winning is not affirmation you're great it is a win that could have been a lost if you did not win.
But losing could have been a win had we won.
