The worst thing that happen to a team is to go 20-0. Now 19-1, that is the sweet spot, its all about finding that one game you want to lose

But losing could have been a win had we won.
Nope. Losing is the process that results in a lost. Winning is a process that results in a win. Losing could never be a win until you start winning.

Example: You are losing this point that will only result in a lost.:muttley:

Why do the Cowboys always need a wake up call? They haven’t won a divisional round game in 28 years. What happened yesterday against the Cardinals happens every season with the Cowboys.
..you didnt expect them to go undeafted, did you? ;)..

We have “wake up call” games every year, some years multiple games, and they never wake up. Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones are a cancer to this team because of the environment they’ve created, NOTHING HAS CHANGED.

No, but there was one fan on the board predicting they would. Lol However, I did expect them to lay down for the Cardinals. Every time they’re riding high they lay down for a struggling team. They do it every year. They love making average, journeyman QBs look great. Colt McCoy, Josh McCown, Sam Darnold, Matt Flynn, Mitch Trubisky, and now Joshua Dobbs, all had career games against the Cowboys. The team continues to think they can flip the switch on and off whenever they want and it will lead to a championship…wrong!

My wake-up calls involve an alarm clock and not some guy smacking me upside the head with a 2 by 4.

They seemed a little too full of themselves after the Giants and Jets. Nice wins and good to start 2-0, but eating some humble pie could be a better motivational tool than thinking you're the best team in football. That was going to punch them in the jaw at some point.

I love how our fans act like the Cowboys are the only team that ever suffers upset losses.

The Cowboys shouldn’t need a wake up call, they haven’t sniffed a championship in 28 years. All the disappointments over the years should get their attention.

This is a fairly young team.. these players don't care what Jerry did in 3 decades. They're worried about right now and getting top dollar when the time comes. Fans worry about what's been happening in 28 years, the players do not.

And yet they continue to do the same thing as the teams from the past did. That's because Jerry has created a culture like this.

If all these players are worried about is money, this team will never even sniff a championship.

It's not ALL they are worried about but every player on every team is looking to capitalize financially in the relatively short time they have in the league.

Players wanting to get paid isn’t reason this team can’t get over the hump. Every player around the league wants to get paid. I do believe Jerry coddles his players too much. The lack of success the team has had over the past 2+ decades starts with him.
