should have been the starter for the past 2 weeks. I said it back then and I'll say it again:
We need to find out if we have to get a veteran QB next year as a back up because Kitna won't be back, and we need to find out if McGee has what it takes to be not only a back up, but a starter in this league. If not, then get another in the draft with the later picks who could be developed.
I personally think he does, but my opinion doesn't count. Those who think he doesn't, your opinion don't count either since you've already been proven wrong because you were the same people who said he didn't belong on the roster and then looked like FOOLS in the end, and because, just like me, you DON'T KNOW if he can handle NFL regular season pressures. The only way to find out if a QB has it, or not, is to prepare him and play him.
He's been sitting long enough, and proved just enough, where he needs to take the next step and THIS is the perfect opportunity. Not pre-season, not training camp, not even at the end of blow out games, but right now. Hopefully, there will not be another opportunity like this again, so take advantage of it and find out what he has.
