Why are folks asking for a new head coach? He had no offseason dealings with this team and folks actually expected a Super Bowl? I'm confused here... This is giving him a chance to see who needs to stay and go for the 2021 season.

Dak's value is showing itself each game. I don't even feel the need to expound on that.

Why is this even newsworthy? People that think or believe they would move on after a single season full of dastardly intangibles simply don’t know business. And that’s all pro football is...a business

I agree on 3yrs and maybe Moore...but I’m gonna give Nolan a mulligan year. Maybe wrong but I’d like to see him get another shot and a full offseason of somewhat normalcy. I don’t think it’s as much of a scheme issue as it is personnel issue....

So people on this forum are upset because Stephen says, they have no plans to move on from Dak and Mcarthy. However these same people feel that if the front office drafts Lawrence, it’s the correct thing to do and it’s Super Bowl here they come. So I guess a top draft pick will fix all the ills of last 26 years.
Some people love strawmans smh.

Dak-Trolls should actually worry when Stephen makes these types of statements.
How many Dak is our future, Dak will be signed, Dak is our leader statements were made prior to Dak getting the TAG?
They didn't sign him to a long-term deal when he was healthy and he's announcing now he is willing to give Dak the big bucks?????
LOL.....oh man the Spring will have Dak-Trolls scattered on the ground crying all over these forums!!!

well we have no choice but to go along with things.
Just the fact that SJ immediately announces that they are going back to dalton though makes me give up on the whole thing.
And jerry or sj saying dak and MM are the future lol, the 3 stooges were dumb, but at least they were funny, with the dallas stooges, they are even dumber,
and it is no longer funny.

By the looks of things, Stephen prefers allowing Dalton to finish what was started in terms of finishing his contract. How that proceeds in the remainder of his time is anyone's guess. At least, the OL and D-line has made strides to make his job easier.

If Dalton can't succeed in the games that remain, perhaps GG would be counted upon to replace him at that point. Evidently, the FO isn't opposed to rocking along with Andy until he shows if he can handle it or not. If he's limited and proves it, at least, there's another viable alternative to resort to in Garrett Gilbert.

At worst, more losses would satisfy those who'd prefer to see us approach tanking. Obviously, Stephen is willing to take his chances with Andy, for the time being. It doesn't necessarily mean GG is being eliminated from consideration, though. For now, at least, we'll see how it goes.

"You're changing a culture. You change when you change the leadership," Jones said. "And certainly we like stability. That's why we stayed with Jason for 10 years and we know these things don't happen overnight in terms of when you turn things around. You throw on top of it that we had an unprecedented environment with the virus and Mike and his staff weren't able to have interactions with the team other than virtual. There's challenges out there but there's a lot of other new staffs that have had the same challenges. You throw that in there, then you throw the injuries that we've had to work with and certainly it's been a big challenge. We'll continue to go to work every day and improve as a football team."

One area the Jones boys excel as a front office- excuses. It is amazing how comfortable they can be with mediocrity and worse, or how easily they make excuses for poor performance. Yes, we have had a terrible rash of injuries. And Jerry and Stephen are the first to remind us of that.

It’s almost as if these guys don’t have to win to keep their jobs. They act like “win or lose” they will still be here no matter what the results...what could possibly go wrong with that formula?

Dakota’s fan bois are fading....even the myth that he’s indestructible was burst...

After he’s gone there will only be a few still pining for him with tearful eyes

Oh Mr 1-2 in the playoffs.......we wish you well in your future endeavors
