Hes due a raise, and I dont think the Cards can pay him

Hes a great 3 or nice 2 depending on if we dump Crayton to make room

Just waiting Adams verification....

There's just no chance that the guys we have on the roster will develop at all.

I dont know how Romo will complete a pass this yr, we're doomed to be 0-16.

Crayton has had a higher YPC in all five seasons he has played than Breaston has had in either season he has played.

Yeah... neither one of them are Tony Hill.

Speed. Craytons another chains mover.

If we had Breaston would you trade him for Crayton?

Breaston is a speed WR? Really?

Isnt one of the reasons he went where he did in the draft because he ran some average 40 times?

Also, in his two seasons he really hasnt made alot of big plays. His career yds per catch is under 13.0, and he averaged only 13.1 last yr despite having two tremendous guys next to him.

And for those that say he is a "great" punt returner, he didnt score a td last yr returning punts and barely averaged 7.0 yds per return. His longest return was 25 yds. He averaged barely 20.0 yds per kickoff return.

He caught alot of balls last yr, but I tend to think its a product of 1) they threw the ball 40 times a game and have no TE threat, only Boldin and Fitzgerald and 2) he';s the 3rd WR next to previously mentioned.

All things being equal I take Breaston ten out of ten times, however I wouldn't pay him number one receiver money.

Cards might keep Breaston before they keep Boldin.

 Come on. Breaston? Really?

I'd like to see what Breaston does against a #1 or 2 corner. If anybody in the league benefits from players around him demanding attention, it's him.

Dallas should wait until after the season gets going to see how Crayton, Austin, Hurd, and Stanback/Ogletree do before we start thinking about new receivers. I for one think we are set for now.

This might be true, only b/c they can probably get a decent package of picks for Boldin. Hell, if Roy W is worth what he is worth, then what is Boldin going to bring? BTW Williams, 281-4082-30 td. Boldin 502-6496-40. Boldin has 1 more year but it is reasonable to say that Roy ain't getting anywhere near AB's 6 year numbers this season.

even though Crayton's been as good, if not a better player

ok

another shining example of CZ fans thinking another team's guy/s HAVE to be better than whats here, and ignoring the facts about production and how a guy is used etc etc

Not really surprising that you didnt get it.

Your reply was that of a pre-season over reaction thread. Not an inquire about a potential off-season target.

Why on earth would be dump Crayton?

And the "I don't think team X can pay someone" argument never pans out

I think some people overrate the players. The suggestion that Barber might be gone in a year or two gets mocked when its the reality of the position/sport.

If it were cap friendly(which is what I was asking Adam) then I would like Breaston.

What do numbers really mean, though? Go back and look at Roethlisberger's quarterback rating his first Super Bowl.
