This BS about you cannot throw stones because we are all sinners is a cop out.

Most people DO NOT cheat on their spouses or go out drinking and driving or steal or do other things of that nature.

Sure we all do LITTLE things that are not totally right. BUT to try and claim that most cheat and so on is BS.

News learns slain QB Steve McNair had longtime affair with a stripper

Even as fans filed into the Tennessee Titans' LP Field Thursday, staring raptly at rolling video of Steve McNair's on-field heroics and writing condolence messages in large albums, a woman in Minnesota grieved alone, in her own way.

The former business manager of a Minneapolis strip club told the Daily News that McNair had been a frequent visitor to the club and had an intimate and extramarital relationship with an exotic dancer for about six years.

"She liked money and athletes," the former business manager said on condition of anonymity. "She went out with athletes before. She was one of those girls who said, 'You're married? You have kids? So what?' Lets have fun.

"I can tell you that she was very upset when she learned that he had died," the former business manager added.

While the pretty brunette mourned privately, Titans fans turned out Thursday to pay their last respects to the quarterback who became the face of the team after the Houston Oilers relocated to Nashville in 1997. Large crowds jammed into the Lewis & Wright Funeral Home in working-class north Nashville early Thursday morning to get a glimpse of the closed silver casket that contained his body.

Thousands more - many wearing blue Tennessee jerseys sporting McNair's No.9 - attended the tribute at the Titans' stadium and a visitation and service at Mount Zion Baptist Church in White Creek, Tenn., remembering McNair for his football prowess and for his years of local charity work.

"The whole community is in mourning for Steve," Tennessee State Rep. Brenda Gilmour said earlier this week. Gilmour, who represents north Nashville, said McNair had recently opened a breakfast-and-lunch restaurant in her district to provide jobs and inexpensive meals to her constituents.

"He had the kind of personality that made you feel like a member of the family as soon as you met him," she said.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher joined McNair's former teammates, including Al Del Greco and Jevon Kearse, at the funeral home early Thursday to say goodbye to McNair and spend a moment with his wife, Mechelle, and their four children.

"He wasn't an overly vocal leader, but you knew every single play and every single snap that he was going to be there to help us win," Del Greco remembered.

Nashville police said on Wednesday that McNair was fatally shot four times on the Fourth of July by his 20-year-old lover as he slept on a sofa in the downtown Nashville condo he rented with a friend. The woman, Sahel Kazemi, then turned the 9-mm semiautomatic she had purchased two days earlier on herself.

Media should wait on exposing details of McNair's life
Posted by Mike Florio on July 10, 2009 10:54 AM

When we saw the article in the New York Daily News reporting that the late Steve McNair had a six-year affair with a Minneapolis stripper, our first instinct was to ignore it completely.

If it were reported by a publication other than one of the major dailies in the largest media market in the world, we would have.

Why, Daily News, did you have to feel compelled to sully McNair's memory on the day between his Nashville-area memorial service and his Mississippi funeral?

It would be different, we suppose, if the source for the report had opted to go on the record. But the article relies on the tale being told solely by the unnamed business manager of the strip club at which the woman worked. There was no comment from the woman, and no reference of any attempt to reach her.

Surely, the story could have been held at least until Monday.

Look, the fact that McNair was openly dating a 20-year-old woman in the town where his wife lives suggests that it wasn't the only time he strayed from his marital vows. So uncovering the apparent fact that he had a girlfriend in another city isn't exactly Watergate-level reporting.

Thus, we think that Michael O'Keeffe and/or his editor(s) should have exercised some discretion on this one. It's not going secure a Pulitzer, but it fairly should trigger a healthy dose of criticism for the gratuitous attempt to sells newspapers and generate page views by wedging a largely irrelevant story into the national conversation before the public's attention migrates to other topics next week.

Kazemi told stranger she sensed McNair affair was ending

Posted by Mike Florio on July 10, 2009 3:11 PM
As one of the most bizarre and unusual cases we've seen in nearly eight years of doing this, another bizarre twist has emerged.

WAAY-TV reports that Georgia woman, Vera Mosley, took her daughters last week to the Dave & Buster's restaurant where Sahel "Jenni" Kazemi worked. Kazemi made such a connection with the woman and her daughters that Kazemi posed for a picture with them.

And Kazemi confided in the woman regarding Kazemi's relationship with former NFL quarterback Steve McNair.

"The very first thing you asked me," the woman said, "'Have you ever been in love?' That's exactly what she asked me. She said, 'We have been on all kind of vacations.' She said, 'But lately he act like he don't wanna spend time with me, and . . . it's killing me and I don't know what to do.' She knew that the relationship was ending.

"She was beautiful on the outside, but she was just dead on the inside."

And this gets back to what has continued to bother us about this. Assuming (as it appears) that it really was a murder-suicide and given that Kazemi was burdening customers at her workplace with her troubles, how did no one who interacts with her on a regular basis notice that something was amiss?

I'm not totally sure why all the outrage over sports reporters and fans in general paying tribute to Steve McNair.

Analagous to Cowboys fans and Cowboys Players, fans don't know how Steve McNair behaved in his private life, they were just fans of his play on the football field and I'm not sure their admiration of his NFL career should abate, just because they are finding out details of his private life.

Be that as it may, he paid the ultimate price for his flaws. And I know every man who is cheating on his wife is probably taking notice - not that that's going to stop anything.

This is the realest thing posted in the thread thus far IMHO.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't about "most cheat" and definitely about "most have sinned". Take it as you will. That halo on top of your dome is a little tilted.

Although I think it would be very respectful to the family to give them some time to grieve before airing all dirty laundry, I hope the information that will be revealed in the coming days doesn't surprise anyone... It doesn't have to be a professional athlete (though it happens often in those circles). It can simply be a man with a comfortable life and a nice little disposable income. Everyone has their demons. Some act upon those temptations while others live in glass houses. Relax relax!!! :D I was just kidding about the glass houses part... You get the drift...
