As of week 2 2022 I agree 100%, but Rush still needs to prove he can perform week after week when the league has tape on him and is adjusting the game plan accordingly. Dak has played like a 4th round draft pick at times, and he has played like an MVP candidate at times. The league adjusted to Dak, but he also started his career 13-3 and people said the exact same about Rookie Dak as they are saying about Rush now. Cooper Rush came out on fire against Cincinnati, but was 7-13 for about 70 yards in the second half. It got the job done, but the Bengals adjusted pretty quick. Let see what Cooper has over a multiple weeks before we anoint him anything other than a good backup so far. The guy doesn't even have 100 attempts yet. Rush might be the best thing for the Cowboys right now, but I stand by my statement that Dak has the higher ceiling of the two, and if the Cowboys have any true super bowl hopes they are tied to Dak returning to old form, not Rush managing games and avoiding turnovers.
