Other teams? Like Philadelphia? Or how about Kansas city? You know. Teams that actually go places in the post season. You’re so blinded by your blue silver glasses you think the cowboys are the only team that drafts well. It’s hilarious to watch you sit here and defend a FO that hasn’t gone to a championship game in 28 years. Kansas city got creed Humphrey. Arguably a top 3 center in the league after we go Joseph. But go ahead keep defending them.
It's hilarious that you go on these rants when the team is very good. Nothing wrong with the center that we have and drafted.

Joseph bypassed CJ Goodwin as the top Special Team player as of 2022.

Games with over 80% of ST snaps:
- Joseph 8
- Goodwin 4
yes but he is drawing 2nd round pay, usually ST players that just play ST are low round pay, or udfa.
So it isnt smart to have kept him.
So far he has been no help at cb , which is what he was drafted for, and took 2 years to be a decent ST player.
He was a big bust, and stupid pick to begin with.
He had his mind on other things besides football, and wasnt smart enough to be a good player.

I am still holding out hope for CB Kelvin Joseph to develop into a solid starting CB for the Cowboys. But while the hit rate on first round picks is around 75%, the hit rate on second round picks is about 50%. The Cowboys hit big with 2nd round pick Diggs in 2020, but their 2021 second round pick might prove the statistics if he ends up being a bust.

But I still like his size and athleticism at the CB position. Unfortunately, his lack of playing experience in college has shown up, and he may not have the mental ability to play the position in the NFL.

Recently, he tweeted that he finally gets it, and this year is going to be much better. Talk is cheap, but I am still hoping for him to break out and start living up to his potential. Even if he does finally get it, he’s going to find it hard to get on the field playing behind Diggs, and former DPOTY Gilmore, not to mention two players ranked among the top 10 playing the slot in Lewis and Bland. If he does start plying better, it may still be another year before we see it on game day.
I appreciate your concern for this rapper chap.
But, just me humble opinion, but there comes a time to cut and let go, me lord.

Another concern is this FO and fandom who spend so much time worrying about C Team JAGs.
Me, I am jacked up like Gene Kelly climbing walls until I see Deuce, Davis and Mazi!

Oh my God you’re unhinged.

All I’m saying is they could be better if they didn’t take a risk on Joseph. Humphrey compared to biadasz shows me you’ll never admit this team doing anything wrong

I'm not holding out anything for this guy. He can either step up or move on. His choice.

KJ what can we say, we can say this much... Cant use metrics to compare KJ, immaturity was the primary issue and it doesn't matter how fast you can run or how much you can bench press, if your young and being stupid than that precedes all other physical attributes.
When KJ grows up he has all the tools to play in this game at this level, his problem is he just a baby still.
Grow up and man up KJ, I would cut you some slack but you havent earned it,,, last year to prove it IMHO.

KJ's problems are above his shoulders. Being stupid means he can't be football smart. That isn't getting fixed with coaching. Get rid of him!.

At this point maybe we should adjust our expectations for him. If he plays special teams well, doesn't do anything stupid, on or off the field, he can just be a special teams specialist like CJ Goodwin. Maybe he makes CJ expendable.

My expectations at this point are woefully low.

CJ is already expendable, even without KJ Prescence.
Both KJ and CJ are on the bubble in this stacked camp.

Bones saved his career, really. I believe they would have cut him last year, if he didn't have a role on ST. Team was really down on him after he gave up a TD.

Personally I think he was a wasted draft pick when you look at the sure fire players that weren’t taken. And his stupidity cost us last year too. One play doesn’t make up for the many
If the goal is to move on in the playoffs, Kelvin Joseph probably had the most clutch play of anyone on the team, at a time when it mattered most. Say what you will about how he made a mistake earlier in the year. I agree. He did. But I don't remember him single-handedly costing us a game. I remember him helping to keep us in that last one. Had we won the game, people might feel differently about him. But I don't blame him for the team losing at San Fran....

C.J. Goodwin was a UDFA back in 2014, who perservered through the first half of his NFL career that eventually had him wind up with Dallas, and since has become a stalwart player on the Cowboys' special teams for the last 5 seasons.
Kelvin Joseph was drafted by Dallas two years ago in the 2nd round - expecting him to become if not a starting cornerback...at least one that is contributing positive play at that position at this juncture.
