Were you told that it will definitely be unveiled at halftime? Is it possible that it will be done before the game starts?glorydaysrback;2952063 said:Just got in the stadium, it is amazing. My first question was where is the star? It won't be unvieled until half time. What a dumb decision. By the way the star is not even with the rest of the field, it sticks up.

If it sticks up, someone could get hurt, so I doubt that. Take another look and get back with us, OP.Ozzu;2952092 said:We'll see I guess, but from the picture of the field in the other thread, it's not sticking up.
Yeah. I don't see how the game can be played with the cutout turf sticking up on top of the star. I'm guessing it will be unveiled pregame.reddyuta;2952095 said:September 20, 2009

So kickoff isn't until 7:20 p.m. but it's always wise to arrive four hours early.
For those of you wondering, yes, the star is on the field. It's just covered by a cutout of regular turf as we speak - and being watched by four men in suits I can only presume are security guards.

Don Corleone;2952103 said:How dumb would it be to risk injury in the name of unveiling the star? If the field isn't level, and there are downs played that way, Jerry is officially an idiot.
glorydaysrback;2952106 said:that Blog by archer is 100% correct. However, I was told it wouldn't be unvieled until HT, but this was a security guard whO told me, so who knows. Maybe it is just the cover that sticks up.
