Just got in the stadium, it is amazing. My first question was where is the star? It won't be unvieled until half time. What a dumb decision. By the way the star is not even with the rest of the field, it sticks up.

Were you told that it will definitely be unveiled at halftime? Is it possible that it will be done before the game starts?

They CANNOT start this game without THE STAR at midfield. They simply cannot do it. The unveiling will probably be pregame. Jerry is too savvy to do anything else.

For those of you wondering, yes, the star is on the field. It's just covered by a cutout of regular turf as we speak - and being watched by four men in suits I can only presume are security guards.

Yeah. I don't see how the game can be played with the cutout turf sticking up on top of the star. I'm guessing it will be unveiled pregame.

that Blog by archer is 100% correct. However, I was told it wouldn't be unvieled until HT, but this was a security guard whO told me, so who knows. Maybe it is just the cover that sticks up.

If 4 guards have to guard it then it's not "nailed" down. So it'll be unveiled before the game. There is NO way that is in line with the rules if you can have a piece of field just laying out there some place.
