LT tend to get some of the best rushers the game has and he’s a rookie so expect growing pains one can only hope they aren’t at the wrong time of the game ( if there’s is a right)

You understand that was his first NFL game playing a position he hadn't practiced in a system that he had all of 1 off-season to learn, yes? He's taken some lumps, but has dished out far more. I trust him more than Peters and have a feeling by seasons end, I'll trust him more than an aging Tyron.

This board fails to recognize that rookies need snaps. Few come out of the gate ready to roll. Hutchinson, a high draft pick got him a couple of times. But I also saw snaps where Smith moved him completely out of the play.

Zack spoiled everyone. Rookies rarely come in and make all pro

Hes a rookie playing the hardest position on offense besides QB, Left Tackle isnt a joke you either play well or get your QB killed

He'll be a good OL down the road. This is kinda like Larry Allen playing tackle early in his career because of necessity. I think he's better at guard but he's still doing serviceable at tackle considering he's a rookie. Larry Allen was a physical freak though and at another level from just about anyone that has played the game.

I think Tyler has played better than anyone could have asked. I dont necessarily see a huge need to upgrade at the position in the draft next spring but if an outstanding LT fell into their lap I would run the card up there because you can never have enough quality linemen.

He still has upside there...it is about getting that technique down. We will see if he can do it.

After giving that sack up today, he literally pancaked Hutch into the ground all the way to the right side of the line....it was beautiful.
