Still not sure Tyler Smith is a LT

He can shift to left guard when Tyron gets back but he's being playing fine as a whole.

That's all hope at this point, and not just Tyron actually being healthy.

Tyler Smith played LT for 3 years in college. He hasn't played a game at guard. Just because the plan was to move him there doesn't mean he'll be good at it.

Right, hence I've given Tyler Smith the "lite" moniker. Nobody truly matches up to Larry Allen but there's no doubt he was a better guard than tackle IMO.

Sewell got beat for two sacks at right tackle by Sam Williams. And he was taken seventh overall to play tackle in the NFL. He got beat because 1) he's a rookie and 2) all players get beat at times. Apply the same logic and level of understanding to Smith at left tackle.

His feet are not elite enough to play LT. He got beat multiple times against the Eagles and again today. It's fine as long as we're winning but he's NOT a LT.

Considering he has been a Cowboys for all of 6 months, spent training camp and preseason at another position, and has looked very good so far at LT, I'd say YES he is a LT.

Tyler is going to an all-pro LT.

People judging Tyler after Hutchinson's sack yesterday should realize Tyler giving up sacks is rare and Hutch was the #1 overall draft pick. Get over it
