Still optimistic and what happend to C-Mike?

It's 1 yard an he is a freak athlete power back. I don't understand why he would let us down like he did.

He is a Sparq superstar and can't even get 1 yard when the team desperately needed it.

They traded for him and used a valuable 53 man roster spot on him while he was learning the scheme. All he had to do to repay their loyalty was to get 1 stinking yard. I'm tried of all the excuses for players that don't perform. I thought the cupcake days were over. Does he even care about the team or is he just collecting a paycheck. Maybe his hips are just too stiff to make the simple move that he needed to make to get that yard.

Do us all a favor and don't jump on the bandwagon once C-Mike gets it rolling.

I did a review of him a few day ago and it was favorable. I said he was bigger and faster than Randle.

Unfortunately some of you guys caused me to get overly excited about his abilities and I was crushed when he failed so miserably in the Saints game. The failed 3rd down was probably the difference in the game.

I've said in this thread that I'm still hopeful that he can get his act together this week an take practice seriously. A guy with his super skillset must have not been practicing or trying hard; otherwise he would not have failed in the Saints game.

I forgot how one can evaluate a player on a single carry that had no blocking.

My review was before the game and it was based on all of his carries in 2014 and all of his 2015 preseason carries.

Like I said, it was a positive review.

In regards to the Saints game, they made him active for short yardage so he has to perform when called on. It's like a kicker that only gets one chance in a game to score the game winning field goal and misses.

Are you saying the Cowboys failed to block for their RB?

Randle is a garbage back. If Michael is a garbage its becausehe cant beat out Randle. Not one carry.

If your gonna troll, at least wait until you have more ammo.

I've never said Randle was great. I did say he was a moron. You guys act like I'm a big fan or Randle or something which is not true.

While he's undoubted a more powerful back than anything the team has (not saying much), I'm not sure I would call Michael a short-yardage back.

I guess he's the best fit the team has to fill that role, but I don't think that means he should be expected to move a pile like he's Mike Alstott in his prime.

I think its less that he is power back as much as it is that he is a legit HB. Randle clearly isnt and McFadden isnt anymore. Not saying Michael is a good one, but he isnt a scat back like Randle

I'm having a hard time convincing myself that you actually believe what you type. Stevie Wonder saw that a cold CMike in on a crucial 3rd & 1 was going to be a run up the gut in our unimaginative offensive plan. You amaze me. Go ahead sir.

That was the knock on him coming from Seattle. He's built like a power back, plays like a finesse back.

There was also the "knock" on him being somewhat uncoachable. The play didn't develop as expected, to be fair. but Michael would have gotten that yard had he followed the blocking and stayed right on Wwitten's hip. Instead, he tries to cut back and runs right into a defender.

Situational awareness...
