i dont care about those other games....

Pittsburgh found a way to win 2 games without Rothelisberger. They kept their team in the hunt for the playoffs while he was hurt..........Of course they werent going to win all of them with Backup QBs....but they did what good franchises do, on average. They won a few while he was out.....thats all they had to do.

Now. We lost to the Saints. Giants, Falcons..... We probably get beat anyway by the Pats. and our season is abrubtly coming to an end.

if we lose the next 4......Why even play Romo or Dez?

Dallas just played Ryan, Brees, Brady, and Eli. Not exactly who you want to match up backup quarterbacks against. If this was a run against Tannehill, Fitzpatrick, Cousins, and Winston, I think the results would have been better.

And yes, it's important not to be 2-7 when Romo returns.

On the one hand, I can get behind the spirit of the OP but, on the other, I'm a bit perplexed as to what people saw during the first two weeks with Romo against a poor Giants and Eagles team that gives them such confidence that all will be well once Romo returns?

I see to recall the team struggling the first two games even with Romo at the helm.

Gee I don't know maybe it's the fact that despite missing their two top players the Cowboys were in position to win at least two of these ball games and with better quarterback play they win rather easily. It's mind boggling how people don't think one of the best quarterbacks in football won't make a difference. They struggled really? They beat a division rival on the road by two scores and Romo didn't even finish the game not to mention Dez was out for a good portion of the first game and they still WON.

This is not a fact but a supposition. I think it's a reasonable, mind you, but it's not one I'm willing to fully embrace considering the team has not looked good all season, even with Romo, which is a fact.

Dallas was 2-0 with Romo that's a fact for you.

He's a great quarterback and one of the leaders on this team.

The team played about a game and a half with Romo and Dez only played about a half. To sit there and judge the team as far as saying they didn't even look good with these two stars when they didn't even play a full game together really is absurd.

How bout 3? Hardy, Dez, and Romo. That's your top 3 talents. And when they got Hardy back it took a miracle for the Giants to win a game in which the other team had 4 turnovers.

It's not a miracle when the other team is making plays to force the other teams into turnovers. Nothing miraculous about that win for the Giants.

It was a miracle they almost lost. It was a horrible loss that might end this thing, but the losing team dominated. They just had horrible luck on an early whistle and a bad call plus special teams breakdowns and 3 picks. Being in a game without Romo and Dez in which all of those things went against you is encouraging, but there's a good chance it doesn't matter.

And thats a valid point.

But just another excuse on the list of excuses imho..................

As a fan, Im done with it. I dont want to hear any more excuses from the Dallas Cowboys or anybody supporting those excuses.

Im done with it.

Im not yelling at you or anyone else on here; In fact, Im glad I have a place to vent all this emotion!!

And if Romo and Dez played, Dallas wins both games with ease. Somehow, they've got to get to Romo within two games of the division lead.

Obviously the wild card is out of the question, so it's about winning the division against bad teams.

If my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle. Yes, we would probably be 5-1 or 6-0 with Romo and Dez. We didn't have them and we're 2-4. I don't see that improving any time soon. Even when Romo gets back, the schedule is goiing to be tough. We're not autmatically going to go undefeated when they get back. Plus, you have to figure with our luck that other players are going to get hurt the rest of the way.

Dallas is 0-4 without Romo. If we had won ONE game it might look more plausible.

Yup.

This team is just embarrassing .... STILL.... after all these years.

Because the east is ****.... There's a chance. 3 more Romo-less games.
We need to win 2 of 3 just to get to 4-5.... Crazy just thinking about that.

The East has been there for the taking for the last 6 years and what has Garrett been able to do with it? One playoff win?
