So if conditions were not a factor, the Cowboys and Giants suddenly became juggernaut defenses last night. Really?

Oh wait, I mean the Cowboys defense became a juggernaut and the Cowboys offense is now worse than the Browns. My bad.

Dak played scared last night. There is no other way to say it.

There are lots of other ways to say it, but "scared" is a semi-popular method for guys sitting on their couches talking about NFL players.

Befuddled at times? Sure. Scared? Hardly. He wouldn't last a down if he was scared.

I don't know about stock up and down, I just enjoyed watching the most valuable player in the league last night.

What a talent. That's now 195, 139 and 165 yards passing the last three games.

Anyone feel silly?
11-2 ...... doesn't feel silly.

For sure, he had a bad game all around.

But the cold was clearly a factor--for Dak and several others. You'd be blind to ignore that

Cold may have been a factor, but players need to adjust. This is the NFL, not the SEC.

Ridiculous response.
To be clear the last time we lost to the Giants we won 11 straight games. It is disheartening the way the offense is trending these last three games. Tampa bay and Detroit will not feel sorry for us.

Was meant to be. I felt compelled to match your post.......

Well my post was about the ridiculousness of thinking Prescott was MVP worthy. Seems pretty on point today.

Or does it sting too much?

What is our record again? Tell me.

Speaking of ridiculous.........brings me to several of your posts. Pot. Meet kettle.

Sting? Why would it sting. Find ONE post where I relegated Dak to MVP. ONE............. I'll eat it.

What is our record again? Tell me.

Seriously. You're not that dense. It was literally 7 posts ago.

What an outstanding comeback.

Yes. I have been exposed after that performance last night. Good call, Joe.

Ouch....I wanna be positive. I try to be positive, but those numbers are real and they hurt.

Whatever you have to tell yourself to feel better. I get it. I hate it too. But at least I wasn't surprised. That's the difference.

I have no clue as to why you would fathom I need to feel better.

The voices in your head are lying to you.

I have no allegiance with Dak being MVP, ROY or Gran Poohbah.

You see? There really is no 'difference'.

Carr played very well last night....silly to single him out.

He covered Beckham every down, followed him all over the field, and he gave up only 4 receptions for 94 yards, with most of that coming on YAC after a short slant. Yes, Beckham beat him on a 3 yard slant, but that should have been another 10 yard pass...the guy ran right through the middle of our defense from one side of the field to the opposite sideline, and Carr was the only player to even get close enough to him for a diving tackle attempt. Where was the rest of the secondary?

Many teams would love to have a CB hold Beckham to one TD on 4 catches as much as NY threw the ball. Carr gets a really bad rap...totally unfair.

I'll tell you who played poorly on defense last night....without seeing the tape, I don't think our first round Safety played well at all....Eli lived with the TE's, and Jones also missed some tackles on key first downs.

I'm thrilled to have Dak as our future, and I'm even more thrilled at what Zeke brings to our team, but I've said all-along that the MVP talk for either guy is just stupid. I don't care if Dak had led a last second comeback for victory last night, stats aside, to say he's better than Brady and others as a rookie is silly. Zeke showed last night that he's a man and can stick his head in there play after play, but his 100 yards was pedestrian if that's possible. They shut him down completely in the second half, showing why RB's seldom get the MVP. They all need the stellar blocking to ever be considered MVP.

Our rookies are great, but they both go as the OL and/or passing game goes, and last night both struggled as the OL was manhandled by the Giants for most of the game.

up:

Linehan- we can only hope some team is foolish enough to hire him away. No screens, no draws, no hot routes? His refusing to adjust and refusing to stick to the run is mind boggling. The stealers have Bell 42 touches yesterday

His play calling has been great this year, but last night was so predictable. Run,pass, pass, punt was the story of the third quarter. Pass 3x, punt became the story of the 4th quarter. Sickening. I think there was a shot of Zeke asking Garret for more touches later in the game, too.

Also, why is Dunbar on the field on third down? Is he really that much better than Zeke at swing passes?

Oh I see. So when you responded to me you did so completely off the topic of what I was saying?

Outstanding. For a second there I thought you were a scolded fan who can't stand that I was right.
